They looked up and down, seeing layer after layer of this recursive civilization, Devan's face was frozen ,"This is insane." Nearly every color clouded their vision as light and screens clouded the city (This is incredible) Apollo thought. Dr. Kuufem spoke ,"We added 100000 Legrun to your bank account to start off. I recommend you guys get a feeling for life around here. Take a look around, this place is truly immaculate." They looked at each other as they bid farewell to the doctor. They looked up and down, still completely shocked by something like this existing. Apollo spoke ,"How did they even get the materials for something like this?!?" Cias replied ,"I'll look it up." He typed the question into his phone and immediately got an answer ,"Apparently all of this material was made by using Arts to convert ki into matter." Such a monumental feat would have been not only astronomically complex but also would require an insane amount of energy. As they researched the highway around them they went up to a teleportation terminal, they were all hungry. As soon as they came up to the terminal, it lit up, text appeared on the screen saying "Welcome" with a search bar below. When Cias clicked on the bar and typed in the location, he saw a "Finalize" button. When he pressed it, space seemed to distort heavily and opened into a box like portal.
They looked through the portal and saw the massive food place in front of them. They stepped through one by one and as they all entered, the portal closed. What they saw before them saw a massive restaurant that could be comparable to the size of a planet. Devan and Apollo looked at each other with insane stares. Devan said ,"There ain't no way." They entered the massive door in front of them and looked at the massive array of screens for the food that would be prepared. They went up to the terminals and ordered the food. Immediately a second later, all of the food was prepared and appeared right in front of them, floating in the air like mystical items. (Technology is so advanced here it seems that almost everything uses Teleportation, this is insane…) They each grabbed their food and a holographic screen appeared in front of them saying "Sit in Row 7 Column 87 to each your food at the designated table. In front of them, space compressed and they could see exactly where they were supposed to go, when they stepped forwards it was like each step was miles apart from the last. Within a few steps they reached their destination.
They sat down at the table and started eating their food ,"Holy shit, this is really good," Noah said, surprised. It not only looked really good, came out really fast but also tasted amazing. It seemed that not only the technology in the 4th dimension had reached an even higher height, but also different disciplines like food. Apollo suddenly felt like a country bumpkin that entered a king's castle. (Everyone else around us is acting like this is nothing special, which I guess it wouldn't be for most of these people. They were born here afterall) It was going to take a while for Apollo, Cias, Devan and Noah to get used to living here. They had each used about 200 Legrun here, which wasn't much compared to the 100000 they had gotten.
As soon as they were done eating the extremely good "Fast food" they got up and a robot immediately shortened space to arrive and clean up their mess in an efficient and ultra clean manner. When they walked through the shortened space again, they were outside of the restaurant. Devan said ,"We should probably get a place to stay." Cias looked back on his phone ,"Got it." He searched up cheap but decent hotels to stay at for the time being and saw one for 4 beds. He went up to one of the terminals and entered the coordinates. Once they walked through the portal they were in front of the hotel building.
When they entered and saw the receptionist they talked about ordering a specific type of room. The receptionist said ,"OK, we have one of those. Is one of you paying or are you paying together?" Apollo answered for them ,"Together I suppose." The receptionist reached out a machine and said ,"Just touch the SWR(Spiritual Wave Receiver) for payment." When they touched the machine, it said ,"THANK YOU FOR YOUR PAYMENT." (So we really do use machines to read our auras so that we can purchase objects. I guess it just happened automatically at the restaurant). Space shortened in front of them and they walked through to reach a door right next to a hallway of extremely close doors. Noah said ,"How are we supposed to have 4 beds in 1 room if we're right next to another one. They can't be for real." Cias put his hand out ,"Just wait a second." When Cias touched the handle to the door and opened it. A room appeared on the inside, much bigger than what it appeared to look like on the outside. Apollo smiled ,"Well I guess it's fine after all!"
