Flat-Brim Samurai Chapter 128 - Identification
Apollo, Cias, Noah and Devan all got up out of their beds and faced each other. As soon as they left the room an announcement came from the speakers. ,"ACCENDENTS HAVE WOKEN UP," Apollo looked up ,"What the hell." The scientist came out from the room opposite of them with excitement ,"Hello everyone!" He spoke ,"Would you mind telling me how you got here now?" Cias answered ,"We trained really hard and fought some strong people." The scientist noticed the dead tone in Cias's voice as he said ,"Alright, then how about we get you accustomed to this new universe that you've entered." They all followed the man as they entered a new room with all kinds of futuristic equipment with unfathomable amounts of depth. The scientist said to them ,"My name is Dr. Kuufem if you were wondering. First, I'm going to need to assess your spiritual wavelength. This is the unique energy signature that only you give off so we can identify you." They all entered the machine one by one. When they entered they didn't even have to state their names, the machine read the history of their auras for them (Kind of freaky) Cias thought.
Dr. Kuufem said ,"Now that we have that taken care of. You guys can now buy, sell and go about your business. Unlike how crime is dealt with in your dimension, it is nearly impossible to get away with anything, so don't try." They didn't know if he was kidding or being serious, probably a mix of both. ,"Things that you buy will be connected to your own bank account that is linked to your wavelength. For clarification, in some of the lower dimensional societies, they use many forms of currency, here, we only use Legrun to make everything much easier." He continued ,"If you do anything deemed outside of the law then you will be kept in either our prisons or jails depending on the severity of the crime. You could also possibly be executed, but that's only if you're truly evil, which I suspect none of you are." Apollo, Cias, Devan and Noah all nodded at the old man. Then his face went from smiling to straight faced ,"Just for your information, you are now citizens of the Kalith Sovereignty. You cannot leave or rebel against your own people." Apollo scrunched his eyebrows, the old man smiled again ,"This is a safe measure by our government to make sure that there is no infighting within our universe. We are at war with other universes. If we start fighting inwardly on ourselves and disperse, then we would be either killed, slaved or taken in by another universe. With all that being said, you guys are free to go. I will give you these government issued phones to be able to get a briefing on what the rules of our society are, what services are available, what kind of jobs are offered, how to get into our military program and I know you guys know how to use the internet." They all grabbed the phones that immediately picked up on their spiritual energy and created their own separate account based on the data. Their phones lit up with lights, welcoming them by their names. The phone itself was about 6 inches long and 2.7 inches wide. Once they all clicked the "Start" button, their phones immediately downloaded all of the information that they needed to function properly. Dr. Kuufem said ,"Now let me bring you out of this place."
They were brought to a massive door, Dr. Kuufem looked at them ,"You guys better be prepared, this society is much bigger than you have ever seen before." They were in disbelief over what he said but as soon as he opened the doors they looked ahead of them, they were in awe. Roadways on the floor connected to roadways on the ceiling with inverted gravity, there was buildings and structures so far into the distance that they couldn't even see the edge of this strange structure. Dr. Kuufem spoke ,"Welcome to the Celestial Highway, a society the size of an entire galaxy, housing an inconceivable amount of people." They looked up and down, seeing layer after layer of this recursive civilization, Devan's face was frozen ,"This is insane." Nearly every color clouded their vision as light and screens clouded the city (This is incredible) Apollo thought. Dr. Kuufem spoke ,"We added 100000 Legrun to your bank account to start off. I recommend you guys get a feeling for life around here. Take a look around, this place is truly immaculate."
