"I think I'm going to tell my parents about everything." Madison suddenly declared before popping a piece of sushi into her mouth.
Auralia went still at her words, almost dropping her chopsticks in surprise. She glanced up at her cousin, who was sitting across from her at the restaurant booth in the back of the mostly empty place.
She did expect Madison to eventually decide to tell her parents the truth about the whole bullying situation, but so soon? She definitely did not and it was a little shocking to say the least.
"Really?" Auralia finally asked, able to find her voice once more.
"Yeah, I've been thinking about it for a while now…" Madison answered, placing her chopsticks down before she scratched the side of her cheek. "I was nervous about it, but seeing those girls being dealt with… Well, I feel I'm ready to tell my parents about the whole ordeal… Of course, I'm still a little anxious with how they're going to react."
