The soldiers of Asgard stood frozen, their faces pale with shock as they watched Erik's terrifying power. Beelzebuth—the dark, swirling energy—wrapped around the Bifrost, eating away at its light like a monster swallowing its prey.
Their hesitation cost them everything. Swords sliced through throats, Chitauri guns blasted torsos into gory chunks, and leviathans crushed entire squads underfoot. No mercy. No prisoners.
One by one, the soldiers fell, their golden armor slick with blood, their bodies littering the Rainbow Bridge.
In moments, the bridge was under Erik's control—a graveyard of Asgardian dead.
This was necessary, Asgardians shouldn't be underestimated. Each Asgardian soldier contained enough power to kill at least 100 Chitauri soldiers on his own. To make the battle short, he needed to lower their moral... he needed to show them the consequences.
However, Asgardians weren't weak or cowards, they'd fight back to their last breaths. That's why he'll break them for good.
Besides, even if he kills them, he can 'revive' them. After all, he had promised Pietro that no harm would come to Asgardians.
With a smirk, he raised his right hand, "Resurrect!"
'But for now, let's see how they fight against their own...' Erik thought, just then, at the edge of the bridge, Cindy hopped down from a chariot with a sly grin. "What's the plan for that shiny shield around the palace?" she asked, pointing at the glowing blue dome.
Erik tilted his head, "That shield? I'll do something about it," he said, "For now, just keep tearing apart their defenses, and don't let anyone fight back."
That was a bit puzzling, he had thought that since it was turned on by inserting Heimdall's big sword into that hole which was in the bifrost, he'd just store the bifrost in his beelzebuth's stomach and it would crumble that golden shield as well.
But oh well.
Cindy shrugged. "Okay, but I'm bringing out the spiders. It's been ages since they got any action."
"Do it," Erik replied, smirking as he watched her eyes light up with a strange glow.
Her hair floated like it was alive, charged with some kind of magical energy. She pressed her hands together, and two glowing circles appeared in the air next to her, spinning and humming with power.
With a deafening crack, the circles released two monstrous spiders, each the size of a small fortress, which landed with a splash in the waters flanking the Rainbow Bridge.
Cindy opened her glowing eyes and leapt gracefully onto the spider on the left. "I'm taking my puppies for a walk. Bye, Erik!" she called, waving cheerfully before charging into battle on her monstrous mount.
He turned back to Heimdall who was still passed out. Erik walked over to him and summoned Beelzebuth. The dark mist surrounded Heimdall's body, pulling him inside and sealing him away.
"System," Erik said calmly, "analyze his eyes. Can we copy his All-Seeing Eyes?"
Erik stared at the glowing blue screen displaying information about Heimdall's All-Seeing Eyes.
The system's analysis revealed the eye's biology and the way they used ancient Asgardian energy called Divinity to operate. However, the system also noted a problem—Erik didn't have any Asgardian DNA in his body, meaning he wouldn't be able to use the 'Divinity'...
'An easy problem to fix,' Erik thought with a smirk.
Summoning Beelzebuth again, Erik called forth Wong, since Strange was busy. Erik always keeps at least one of them inside Beelzebuth.
"Open the Mirror Dimension," he ordered.
Wong raised an eyebrow but nodded, forming intricate hand signs. The shimmering portal opened, and the two men stepped inside. Once they were safely inside, Strange closed the gate behind them.
Erik summoned Beelzebuth again, letting the dark, swirling fog cover his head completely. Wong tilted his head, watching curiously. 'What is Master planning now?' he wondered.
Inside the fog...
Erik began, "Extract Heimdall's eyes and isolate the Asgardian DNA sequences tied to his divinity. Create a secondary DNA layer with those sequences, then absorb my own eyes, and then merge it with my genetic code without altering my base DNA. This layer should activate and deactivate like a switch, letting me toggle between my normal mode and the All-Seeing mode. "
The system's calm, robotic voice replied along with message on the screen in front of Erik's eyes:
[Absorbing Heimdall's eyes…]
[Absorbing host's eyes…]
The moment the process began, Erik felt an excruciating pain in his eyes, so sharp it made him stumble slightly. "F-Fuck!" he growled, clenching his fists. "I should've disabled my pain receptors first. Damn, this stings!"
The system continued its work:
[Processing request… Creating the merged set of eyes… Equipping the new eyes in the host's body… Finished!]
Finally, the pain stopped, and Erik exhaled sharply in relief. "That was a nightmare," he muttered.
Once the fog dissipated, Erik stood tall again. Slowly, he opened his eyes. They weren't blue anymore—instead, they glowed faintly gold. Erik smiled, clearly pleased with the results.
Closing his eyes for a moment, he reopened them, and this time, Wong noticed that they were back to their normal blue color.
"I suppose you succeeded, Master?" Wong remarked, still observing Erik closely.
Erik turned to him, he still wasn't used to his [Resurrected] soldiers showing intelligence, emotions, and response, but he nodded nonetheless. "I think I did., Wong."
With that, Erik flexed his fingers and tested his new powers. He summoned his laser vision and unleashed a glowing beam into the waters below the Rainbow Bridge within the Mirror Dimension.
The attack caused a massive splash, sending ripples across the surface. Erik stopped the laser and muttered to himself, "Hmm, both abilities are working fine."
Satisfied, he turned to Strange with a confident smirk. "Let's go back to the real world."
.
.
.
.
After coming back to the real world, Erik took off into the air, flying high above the battlefield.
From there, he had a perfect view of the carnage below. Cindy's spiders were crushing Asgardian soldiers into pulp, their screams cut short as fangs pierced armor. The Asgardian fleet burned in the sky, Chitauri leviathans tearing through their hulls and devouring crews.
On the ground, the [Resurrected] Hulk roared like a beast, leaping from one defense tower to another, smashing everything in his path. Iron Man zipped through the air in his nano suit, this reminded him of obtaining one for himself and his team as well.
On the ground, the [Resurrected] Hulk roared, ripping soldiers limb from limb. Iron Man's repulsors incinerated fleeing warriors, while Captain America's shield decapitated any who charged him. Ant-Man, towering over the chaos, crushed entire platoons under his boots.
In the streets, a crimson haze spread like a plague. The two Wandas stood at its epicenter, their eyes glowing as they forced brainwashed soldiers to slit their comrades' throats. Proud Asgardians collapsed, their own swords plunged into their hearts.
Then, a blue streak of lightning flashed through the streets pushing Asgardian soldiers left and right.
Erik spotted it immediately, watching as a tanned girl with white hair stepped in its way, raising her sword.
He smirked. "Pietro and Lilja, huh? Lovers fighting on opposite sides. Guess I'll let them duke it out for now. They'll probably laugh about it someday."
"Now then, it's time to break their spirit once and for all… Resurrect," Erik muttered under his breath. At his command, a grim energy pulsed through the battlefield. In an instant, the fallen Asgardian soldiers began to stir, their bodies started to heal and they rose.
Screams of terror and disbelief filled the air as the living Asgardians froze at the sight of their fallen brothers and sisters marching back to life, now under Erik's control.
"Marcus, you're alive—h-hey… why are you pointing your sword at me?" came the final, broken words of a soldier as the so-called Marcus, now a healthy, undead warrior with cold eyes, glared at his former ally.
"Ah, Lewin, I now serve a different king now. See you soon, Lewin. In a few minutes you'll be fighting on our side as well." Marcus smiled as he plunged his sword deep into Lewin's chest and gave it a final twist.
Erik turned his attention to the giant blue shield surrounding the golden palace. It shimmered and crackled, keeping anyone from getting through.
"Hmm… Strange's portals won't work inside this thing," he muttered, his sharp eyes narrowing. "This is powered by the Space Stone. Ultron used something like this once to protect the Infinity Stones. Back then, I used Beelzebuth to bust through… but maybe I'll try something different this time."
He floated closer and placed his hands on it. The shield pushed back, trying to throw him off, but Erik didn't even budge.
