On the first day of the New Year, Lucas Hutt seemed to be back to normal, showing no apparent signs of unease. At least, no one other than Tina Hernandez noticed his occasional daydreaming.
Then it was time to pay respects for the New Year.
Tina followed Lucas to the Hutt's house to pay their respects, and Madam Hutt became even more fond of Tina. She believed that Tina could make Lucas wholeheartedly committed to their relationship, and now she knew she was right.
At dinner, Madam Hutt brought up the old topic: "When are you two planning to have children?"
Tina smiled and replied, "I'll listen to Lucas."
So, the ball was in Lucas's court.
Lucas hesitated for a moment while picking up some food, "We're still young, and there's no hurry to have children. Besides, we both have busy jobs, and we don't have much extra time to take care of a child..."
"You just focus on having children. I'll take care of raising them, so don't worry about it." Madam Hutt interrupted Lucas's words.
