As they approached the apartment building, Edward Anderson broke the silence, "Don't you have anything to say to me?"
Blaming him for not telling the truth, for lying to her, or for using her.
He knew Bella Scott as a person who held grudges. She was never generous, but this time she did not blame him for anything, which made him uneasy.
Was it because she didn't care about him anymore, or had she forgiven him, or had he become part of her past...
Bella Scott did not respond, as she did not know what to say.
Seeing her silence, Edward Anderson's mood was somewhat low.
Just like that, Bella Scott drove him to the apartment building. As she was about to drive away, Edward Anderson called out to her, "Brynn is upstairs, would you like to see her before you leave? Also, the chip has been removed from her body, she is no longer in danger and is recovering at home."
Bella hesitated for a moment and finally replied, "I'll go upstairs and see her."
