So after travelling past the housing area they came to the industrial zone.
Here you could see many factories going from food processing factories to weapon making factories.
There was a strange mix of modern day factories like food plants, brick manufacturing factories and old day factories like blacksmiths, mercantile, etc.
These mixture of different factories and shops gave other's an odd feeling of purposeful dissonance making a strange satisfaction emerge in those who view them from an observer's perspective.
There was a unique rhythm to the placing of manufacturing shops and factories as well like for every two modern day shops there was an old day shop located in the middle looking out of place at first but looking at this rhythm and pattern for every shop here there seemed to be a good dissonance between them.
These manufacturing shops seemed to be purposefully made this way to invoke a certain kind of harmony between the old and modern times.
Honestly it was not the kind of thing that will leave you dumbstruck or flabbergasted but it could definitely capture your attention even if just for a second more.
This arrangement seemed to say that even if you advance past the old ways there will still be traces of old days left in the advancement so even after advancing towards the future the past should mot be forgotten.
Strangely enough in this place of manufacturing shops and factories there were no chemical plants and other such factories or shops that cause alot of pollution.
Nonetheless this place was working perfectly fine even without such plants which makes one wonder where does the energy to run this whole place come from.
"They took sustainable development really serious didn't they" commented Light.
"Experiencing doomsday many things importance become highlighted i guess. As how the once neglected environment is being meticulously preserved and cultivated here" Arman explained.
Leaving that aside Arman began going through the industrial zone and observed its working process.
Simply put various products are made in this place which are then sent to the marketplace where these products are sold to others.
Some exceptional people can even buy directly from the industrial zone but for it the factories or manufacturing shops head here should given them permission to buy directly.
Oh in case other's are wondering the common currency of this place are merit points which are obtained by performing tasks that help to sustain the city.
For example through farming people can earn enough to live a normal comfortable life but if the crops have exception yield they can earn more merit points to live a life of luxury.
In a sense it's designed in a way that promotes mutual cooperation between everyone.
Also one of the most merit earning jobs here are either as researchers where a significant discovery like cure to various diseases, invention of virus resistant drugs and many other's can earn huge merit point.
Likewise similar to research, hunter's are also one of the most merit earning jobs and the number of merit's earned is based on the number of zombies killed, missions completed with different difficulty mission giving different number of merit based on degree of completion, quality of zombies killed and so on.
Hunter's are also of various types like there are those who focus on gathering supplies and objects of value, then there are those who focus on eliminating zombies solely, then there are guards who protect the city at all times, there are also reconnaissance hunter's focusing on gathering information, adventurers focusing on finding new location and many more.
So in this way the economy of this place is maintained.
Anyways back to topic if you want to live comfortably you have to work for it as nothing's free.
After looking at the factories and manufacturing shops speaking with the owners or workers there Arman gained alot of information about the workings of this place.
Then after some time examining things here he left for the next place the marketplace which was also one of the main reason for him coming out this time.
Taking his sweet tome walking he then came to the marketplace.
Upon reaching the marketplace the first thing he saw was the huge influx of people here.
This place was filled with stalls, shops, restaurants, parlors and all where people could be seeing eating, drinking, browsing, haggling, buying and all sorts of stuff.
This place was brimming with people that brought about a feeling of liveliness. Although being filled with people there was no chaos there instead the place was pretty harmonious.
Taking a moment to take in the liveliness of this place he then proceeded forwards trying to find the place selling hunter supplies and weapons.
After wondering for some time he decided to ask someone where the best place to buy hunter's stuff was and the stranger told him what he knew.
From the stranger he heard that the most popular place selling hunter's stuff here was called the "Hope of Dawn" which was located towards the end of the marketplace near the central building in order to make buying and trading easier and more convenient for the hunter's.
Thanking the stranger Arman strode forward towards the central building having his destination in mind.
While on the way he went from shop to shop buying what he found interesting mainly food items and drinks.
Soon he reached near the end of the marketplace and according to the location given by the stranger came to a simple yet grand building though not as big or impressive as the central building it was still imposing.
The building was quite big having a mixture of both modern and old constructs.
The name "Hope of Dawn" was written at the front of the building in bold letter's in an imposing way.
People were seen coming in and out of the building from time to time and from their gears it can be seen that most of them were hunter's.
Taking a moment looking at the building Arman then entered the place.
