"This direction doesn't feel right! Why are they so off course? What are they up to?" In the vast emptiness of the void, Muria gazed into the distance. Using his bloodline sense, he calculated the current position of his parents and found that it deviated significantly from the void coordinates of the other eight worlds he had received.
Feeling uneasy, Muria moved toward the location sensed through his bloodline. Something felt off, so he released the void fleet he carried from his demi-plane.
A massive fleet of over a hundred warships emerged from the portal of his demi-plane, cruising in formation.
"Coordinates..." Muria confirmed the void coordinates and then directed the fleet toward that location.
…
After several months of travel through the void, Muria finally arrived outside the barrier of a world. He looked down at the crystalline barrier, which looked no different from other worlds, and a hint of doubt appeared in his eyes.
Something felt wrong. His parents should have been at one of the eight world coordinates given to him by the World Dominion Hall. Yet, they were now in a world that didn't belong to the Titans.
This was peculiar. Even if this world was unique, and his parents were simply exploring, the fact that they'd been here for over three years was unreasonable. What were they doing here for so long? Could they be conquering a mid-sized world on their own? Ridiculous.
Without a proper army, even if one became the most powerful being in a world, they'd eventually be sidelined.
"Your Highness, should we enter this world?" Inside the Medra-class light void battleship, a Legendary giant from the Shadow Desolation walked up to Muria, asking respectfully. During this time, he'd been studying aboard the ship.
Even though he'd been confined to such a small space, he had no complaints. He felt much stronger than before—not in terms of power, but in terms of his broadened perspective.
Having already advanced to Legendary, he thought there was nothing more to aspire to. Yet, seeing the vastness of the void and the numerous worlds it harbored, his ambition had been rekindled.
"No need. I'll send in my avatar to check things out first. Something's off with this world." Muria shook his head, declining the offer from this Legendary giant, who had become fiercely loyal to him. This giant was a future core member of his void army, not someone to be sacrificed recklessly.
Muria extended his hand, and a bright sword slowly emerged from his palm. A heavy, eight-edged greatsword finally appeared, its spine inscribed with ancient divine runes. An aura of timelessness and grandeur emanated from it.
"Haven't used this in a while." Muria sighed as countless divine lights extended from the sword, rapidly constructing a powerful avatar.
The sword transformed into an avatar identical to Muria's Titan form, though much weaker.
Even so, this avatar retained about 30% of Muria's full strength—enough to handle any scouting task.
Even if something went wrong and the avatar was destroyed, the sword, forged from over ten types of Legendary metals, would remain intact.
…
"That boy Muria finally arrived," said the weary golden dragoness, gazing up at the sky in a mid-sized world with increasingly murky air. She seemed to sense Muria standing beyond the world's barrier.
"He won't barge in recklessly like we did, right?"
"Mm!" Ansol, exhausted from battling the evil god's minions for nearly three years, responded with a grunt. Despite his warrior nature, a hint of fatigue showed in his eyes—not physical exhaustion but mental strain.
"If he had come any later…"
"We could hold out for another ten years if needed. I can keep fighting," Ansol interrupted before the golden dragoness could finish.
"Only because this world's will has awakened and sees you as a savior," she retorted, not bothering to argue further. Both she and Ansol could feel the endless power flowing into their bodies from the surrounding space, replenishing them as soon as their strength was depleted. This was the only reason they'd been able to fight for so long.
For the past few years, they'd been in a constant state of battle at their peak strength. Because of this, the minions spawned by the evil god hadn't posed a serious threat to them. Moreover, the world's native inhabitants were also resisting.
However, the natives were weak compared to the evil god's minions. Against the growing evil forces, they were struggling to inflict any meaningful damage.
"What's that?" A bald humanoid Legendary in a robe, standing beside Ansol, looked up at the sky. A bright golden meteor was descending rapidly toward their location, standing out clearly in the dim sky.
"That boy is here after all, but something about his aura seems off," the golden dragoness muttered without looking up. She had already sensed Muria's avatar the moment he entered the world; their bloodline bond was no joke—after all, they were mother and son.
Boom!
Muria's avatar crashed into the mass of the evil god's minions, obliterating everything that tried to kill him.
"Ugh, what disgusting creatures!" The hundred-meter-tall Titan rose from the crater, grabbing a twisted monstrosity charging at him and crushing it instantly.
"What is that?" The local warriors, led by Ansol and Atris, were astonished as they watched Muria's arrival. Soon, their eyes lit up with hope.
They had been struggling against the evil god's minions, but Ansol's arrival had greatly eased their situation. Now, another powerful being, similar to Ansol, had appeared. Even though he seemed slightly weaker, he still added to their strength against the evil forces.
"What's with this? Your aura has dropped significantly. Is this your avatar?" The golden dragoness studied Muria for a moment before realizing what he was.
"Yes, this is my avatar." Around Muria, lightning formed into countless swords that pierced through the evil god's minions, annihilating them without leaving any chance for regeneration.
"I sensed something was wrong with this world and thought you two had been here too long, so I sent down an avatar to investigate."
"I recall your avatar and true form share the same thoughts, correct?"
"Yes."
"These are evil god minions that have invaded our world domain. For some reason, they slipped past the Titan void watch. Report this to our people immediately and get one of the elders here. If we don't get help, your father and I are going to be in real trouble."
"Evil god minions?" Understanding what these grotesque monsters were, Muria's expression grew serious. Outside the world barrier, his true form didn't hesitate to begin performing an ancient Titan sealing ritual.
A translucent golden crystal, densely inscribed with runes, appeared and shattered as soon as it formed, using up a tenth of Muria's power.
In the world of Erathia, thousands of light-years away, several beings opened their golden eyes as time and space warped.
"Hmm, a child has found traces of evil god minions within our world cluster."
"Evil god minions? Another god dares to encroach on our domain?"
"I'll take care of it!"
"No, it's my turn. I haven't had a fight in 80,000 years!"
"Quiet down. I haven't awakened in 100,000 years. Let me handle this."
…
A massive Titan, seated on a mountain range, slowly opened his tired eyes. Hearing the quarrel of his even older kin, he closed them again. There was no need for him to act.
"You all can keep sleeping. I'll handle this." The argument was finally settled by a voice both ancient and domineering.
"Hmm? Are you awake, Gulruk?"
"Hehe, yes, so I'll take care of it. You guys are going to take a while to fully awaken anyway."
"I'm not even asleep yet, Gulruk."
"Ten Lords, these are just a few evil god minions. No need for you to get involved. I'll handle it."
"We all know what you're up to."
"Exactly, which is why I'll deal with this myself. It's just a small evil god." As he spoke, a colossal Titan appeared above a hidden world, his body expanding rapidly until he reached a height of ten thousand meters. Space and time warped as his overwhelming presence caused the gods in the heavens to take notice.
"What are the Titans up to now? Another god to be beaten down?" whispered one deity. Whenever the Titans caused such a stir, it meant some unfortunate god had provoked them. In their minds, the idea of an external invasion didn't even register.
"Relax. Stay calm and don't worry." A golden path appeared under Gulruk's feet, extending into the infinite void...
