Chapter 796 - Chapter 794: Invasion of the Evil God’s Minions

Three years later, Muria stood in an opulent mansion, smiling as he looked at President Fargo, who was bowing before him.

"It's time for me to leave now," Muria said as he glanced at Fargo, the new president of the Shiran race. "Remember to prepare what I asked for. I will send people periodically to collect it. If it doesn't meet my standards, I won't hesitate to replace you. After all, a few more years is nothing to me."

"Just some rare mineral resources. Don't worry, I'll have the quantities you need ready every year," Fargo replied respectfully, showing no hint of displeasure at the threat of being replaced. Now that his heart had turned black, Fargo fully understood the terrifying power and wisdom of the being in front of him. He knew that all his achievements were thanks to Muria. From a passionate, righteous Mecha pilot, he had transformed into the president of the Shiran race, a man of power and influence.

Reflecting on everything he'd gone through over the past few years felt like a dream. The person he was three years ago was unrecognizable compared to who he had become today. His character, wisdom, and approach to handling matters had completely changed.

The young pilot who had once thought only of fighting and protecting the Shiran with his Mecha was gone. In his place stood a master of intrigue, a president adept at navigating the complex webs of power and politics.

Over the past three years, he had sacrificed much of himself: his passion as a warrior, his conscience, his sense of justice... and even his love.

Fargo vividly remembered the day he met a beautiful woman. Upon investigating, he discovered she was part of a powerful political family. He felt deeply disappointed and wanted to cut ties with her, but Muria had appeared, mocking him.

"Fargo, you've reached this point, and you still hope for a pure, untainted love? Why are you so naive and laughable? At your level, you no longer have the right to pursue love. Marriage is a commodity. Your task now is to sell it at the highest price for maximum benefit."

After a period of silence, Fargo had followed Muria's advice and continued his relationship with the woman, eventually marrying her. In exchange, he gained tremendous political capital and became unstoppable, rising to the position of president.

But unlike his predecessors, Fargo held the strongest power in the world—the Dawn Mecha, the weapon bestowed upon him by Muria.

Now, as the holder of the strongest weapon, Fargo had the potential to change the Shiran system. He was no longer a replaceable president but a ruler with the power to determine the rise and fall of the Shiran civilization.

During the past three years, Fargo had gained immense popularity among the common people, thanks to his cooperation with Muria. Besides the three disaster beasts the Shirans had already dealt with, Muria had secretly eliminated the Sea King and taken the Dragon Turtle.

Of the remaining eleven slumbering disaster beasts, Muria had awakened eight. When these creatures, still groggy with "morning rage," began wreaking havoc, Fargo had descended in his Dawn Mecha.

Thus, a legend was born. Eight disaster beasts, eight victories. In truth, the more pleasing beasts were taken by Muria, while those deemed unworthy were disposed of with Muria's assistance, allowing the Dawn Mecha to triumph effortlessly.

These victories earned Fargo an unparalleled reputation. His status in the Shiran civilization soared, with some even beginning to worship him as a god incarnate, thanks to the seemingly divine abilities of his Mecha, which could manipulate the very elements.

"As long as you provide the mineral resources I need each year, I guarantee that the Shiran will remain autonomous, free from my interference," Muria said, issuing his final instructions. Then, with a playful look, he asked, "Anything else you want to say to me?"

"Are you truly a devil?" Fargo asked, looking up at Muria. He had once thought Muria sought souls or flesh, but in the end, all he wanted were some metal ores.

Now, those ores were practically worthless in Shiran society. The advent of the Dawn Mecha had shifted their research focus from metal-based Mechas to biological ones, causing the demand for metals to plummet and their prices to drop.

"If you want to remain the ruler of the Shiran, I can offer you another option!" Muria suddenly smiled and started walking outside, prompting Fargo to follow in confusion.

As they stepped into the open courtyard, shouts and exclamations filled the air.

"Who are you? How did you get in here?"

"What is that? Protect the President!"

"Alert!"

"Be careful, Mr. President!"

The voices startled Fargo, and he realized that Muria was no longer invisible to others—everyone could now see him.

"Fargo, this is my final gift to you before I leave," Muria said.

Then, in an instant, Muria's form expanded to an immense size, towering like an eternal mountain. As he revealed his true Titan form, the sky grew dark with storm clouds, fierce winds howled, and bolts of lightning streaked across the heavens. The world was cast into shadow, only to be illuminated by the golden light emanating from Muria's body, making him appear as a radiant god descended upon the earth.

"Fargo, from this day forward, you will be my agent," an overwhelming voice boomed, and then the god-like figure ripped open space and vanished.

The storm, lightning, and radiant sun-like figure disappeared as quickly as they had come, leaving the world restored to its original state. The Shirans present were left standing in awe, their faces filled with shock.

"So, you're the one who altered our evolutionary path," Fargo muttered, staring up at the sky with a mix of loss and relief. He had long suspected this but now felt strangely at peace with the truth.

...

"Divine Right of Kings!" Standing beyond the world's barrier, Muria gazed down. "I've revealed my true form and spoken your name. If you can't hold onto your position now, I'll be sorely disappointed."

His eyes shifted toward the endless void. "Now, let's see where my parents are. I hope my father isn't being too harsh—these are my future resources, after all!"

...

"What's the Void Monitoring Office doing? Evil God's minions have already invaded, and they haven't noticed!"

In a world filled with foul air, Ansel's body was surrounded by golden lightning and invisible winds. Each time he swung his spear, it obliterated a twisted, tentacled monster in mid-air.

However, some of the creatures that weren't fully destroyed by the lightning had their remains devoured by other twisted monsters, causing those monsters to grow stronger.

"Ansel, don't just focus on fighting! This world has been deeply corrupted by the Evil God's power. Even the world's consciousness has awakened. We need to break through the blockade and call for help from your father. This is beyond our capabilities!" A golden-haired girl, standing on Ansel's shoulder and wielding a staff to control elemental forces, spoke with a grave expression.

"I know, but…" Ansel looked up at the tainted sky. Winds erupted from beneath him, carrying his massive frame into the air. But as soon as he rose a hundred meters, the Evil God's minions swarmed him, detonating themselves as they neared. The sheer force of their suicidal attacks pushed Ansel back to the ground.

"These disgusting creatures want to trap us here! Hmph!" Enraged, Ansel stood, surrounded by a field of golden lightning, clearly displeased by the situation.

"We shouldn't have rushed in like this." The Golden Dragon Lady sighed as her husband's latest attempt to break through the enemy ranks failed. They had initially intended to follow the coordinates provided by Muria to the next small world but had stumbled upon this medium-sized world instead.

Sensing something off, she had pulled Ansel into the world to investigate. They soon discovered the presence of the Evil God's minions.

"What's the point in saying that now?" Ansel grunted, launching his spear to destroy a twisted creature made of tentacles, eyes, and fangs.

"True, we can only wait for little Muria to realize our predicament!"
