Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

"This is one of the best anime I've watched. I should've watched it way before, but I never tried because of 400+ episodes," Indrah muttered, finishing Naruto Shippuden.

"Should I watch Boruto?" he wondered, remembering all the troll memes and bad reviews.

"Huh, what's that noise?" He heard shouting and screaming nearby. "Maybe those bastards next door at it again," he sighed, wishing he'd had a cute neighbor instead of a constantly fighting couple.

He walked to the window to check what was happening—only to see an alarm clock flying straight at his forehead.

He couldn't react.

Brain death.

The next moment, he was floating in a dark void. In front of him was a light source—a glowing white core, about the size of a palm. He couldn't even process what was happening.

"That's the funniest and saddest death of this epoch."

The voice came from the core. Calm, echoing, ethereal.

"I'm what you'd call God or Guardian. You get one wish of your choice. Plus reincarnation."

It didn't even give him a chance to ask anything.

"Can I know why I died?" Indrah asked. He still couldn't wrap his head around it. Reincarnation was fine as fiction—but God? Really?

"Is that your wish?"

"No, I just want to know why or how I died. Can you show me?" He'd be a fool to waste his wish on a question.

"Then you owe me a favor," the voice replied.

"Forget it," he scoffed.

"Fine, fine. I'm just kidding."

With a light laugh, reality twisted—and he was suddenly floating above his house, watching what had happened in a transparent bubble.

The neighbor aunty was trying to cheat on her husband with her boyfriend. But before they could do anything, her husband caught them in the act.

The boyfriend panicked and tried to jump out the window. Before he could, the husband threw the alarm clock from the bedside table at him.

The boyfriend caught it mid-air and threw it back. But just as it left his hand, a truck came out of nowhere and ran over him. The impact knocked the alarm clock off-course—

—and sent it flying straight through Indrah's window.

Direct hit.

"…So that's how I died."

He didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"You should laugh. Instead of being an orphan and living a pointless life, now you get a chance to start over. Fix what you regret," the voice said, pulling him back into the void.

"So, did you think of your wish?"

"I want to reincarnate as Indrah Otsutsuki, in the Naruto world," Indrah said without hesitation.

The name wasn't random. It was his real name—and also his favorite character.

He had always been biased about Indra in the story. If he could start over as anyone, why not the one tied to his own name?

"Reincarnating as Indrah Otsutsuki is your one wish. You can't have anything else."

'I really can't be greedy, huh,' he thought.

"I'm ready."

"Look up. Those constellation-like symbols? They're the entry points to each Verse. Focus on one and you'll connect."

Indrah looked up. A whole universe stretched above him, made of glowing constellations. He couldn't even describe it.

He closed his eyes and followed the instructions—trying to connect with one. A star-shaped constellation pulled at him. For him, it was the brightest one there.

As soon as he felt the connection, a massive door appeared in front of him. It was so big it took up half the void.

"One of the Supreme Verses. Quite lucky, boy. Enter the door and you'll become who you wished for."

"This door… where have I seen this?" he muttered. He couldn't remember which anime it was from.

"Anyway, thank you. I won't forget your favor," he said with a smile and stepped forward.

As he crossed through the door, his entire body changed. From head to toe, heart to soul—everything was molded into something else.

He opened his eyes and found himself in a dark hallway. The walls had strange paintings and sculptures. His body felt new.

He was 170 cm tall. Slim build. Black hair—like his previous life. But his eyes were the real change. His right eye was red with the Mangekyo pattern. His left was a rippled purple with six black tomoe.

"The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and Rinnegan," he muttered, slightly excited.

He paused.

'Wait… I look like Sasuke.'

His reflection was practically identical—the hair, the eyes, even the outfit.

'Did I actually reincarnate as Sasuke? No… I asked to be Indrah Otsutsuki.'

He glanced again.

'But if Sasuke was Indra's reincarnation… then maybe, he's what Indra became in the modern era. So this form—this power—is Indrah's final evolution.'

The thought settled oddly well in his chest.

He tried to deactivate both eyes. Only the Sharingan disappeared.

'So the Rinnegan's permanent, huh.'

His outfit matched too—white jacket with a big collar, tight black track pants, and black shoes.

Before he could inspect further—

"My, my. Irregulars are becoming common these days."

A strange figure appeared. A white rabbit-like being with no visible mouth, holding a staff with two blue orbs on the ends.

Indrah froze.

'Headon…'

He realized where he was.

Tower of God.

'Damn. I only watched the anime. Never got to reading the webtoon… I'm not even that deep into otaku culture,' he thought, sighing.
