“Oh, I know who you are Nadia.” Carrie smiles. “You’re certainly not that little girl anymore.”
“You remember me?” Nadia seems surprised. “I’m sorry, I don’t remember you if we’ve met.”
“It’s fine dear. I lacked even more presence back then. I had only just started as your father’s secretarial assistant. I do remember you though. You were the cutest little thing running around, stirring up a bit of trouble wherever you’d go. Oh, you weren’t a bad girl though, not one bit.”
Nadia’s cheeks flush. “Thank you…I hope I didn’t cause you too much trouble,” she replies.
“Not at all. You brought life to this office actually.” She smiles once more and then finally says, “Well, your father is expecting you, so please go on in. Also, be sure to introduce me to your beautiful partner next time.” She winks playfully at Keiko, who now blushes too. “Take care.”
