Ken, a third year high school student in BN High. Hes a typical guy, all about him is just average, he is not that good looking, he doesn't have high grades but it's not low either, he is not athletic, and most of all he is not rich. The only thing that an average person has that Ken doesn't have, are his parents. He is not abandoned, but just left behind by his dead parents due to an accident that happened when he was still 10 years old. They're supposed to be going to school to pick up Ken, but unfortunately they met a tragic accident that led to Ken becoming an orphan. After a few years passed, Ken learned to live his life alone in a nomal way, but something is still missing, the care and love that his parents couldn't give him, so his trying to find those things in the girl he likes, and that is May.
May is Ken's crush since their second year year of high school, she is beautiful and smart, and she's also a bit well lived, Ken admired her abilities and beauty but that's all, he doesn't like her to the point of calling it love, he's just admiring and idolizing her, but that feeling's suddenly changed in their last year in high school. Ken started to be conscious of May, he always think about her every single day, he always looked at her sometimes even dreamed about her, and that made him think that he maybe have fallen for her. So Ken started changing his self for her. He got rid of all of his bad habits and started taking care of his self more, he got close to her and even take more part time jobs to save up money to buy her gifts. May liked and accepted them all so Ken thought that maybe now I got a chance to say what I really feel. Then the time comes and Ken confessed to her...
"You know May there's something I've been wanting to tell you for a while, you should've already know that I like you, so I want to get more closer to you, can you let me be your boyfriend? And I'll give you all the love and care that you would want" As Ken says it in an affectionate look and tone.
"Ken I know that you're kind and genuine, I also like all the things you gived me, and I want to thank you for all of what you did, but I really don't think that I like you the same way as you do, so all I can offer you is being a good friend to you" May turned away and left after but she is blushing and looks like she's happy about something (but why did she blush and looked happy when she just rejected someone?).
In a pouring rain...(A Hissing sound can be heard).
In the same day after Ken confessed his feelings to May. He is walking from school in his way home looking down and hurting, he stumbled upon across a girl in a corner of the street, sitting there crying while getting wet from the rain. Ken is planning to ignore her, he doesn't have the energy for other things because of what had happened, but his conscience won't let him so he slowly walk over and approach the girl.
"Hey are you okay?"he said while tapping the girl's shoulder
When the girl noticed him, she stopped crying and wiped her tears then she looked up to him. When they're eyes met, Ken got stunned, it's almost feels like his world stopped for a moment. He didn't know why but he couldn't hear the girl's voice, he can only see ther girl's eyes and the loud sound of rain drops, but when he came to his senses the girl is calling out to him.
"Uhmmm hello? hey you there!?" The girl was shouting.
"Oh yeah sorry, Here" when Ken finally heard her he handed over the umbrella to the girl.
"Ahh Why are you giving this to me?" The girl asked while confused as to why he give the umbrella.
"You can have it, the rains getting worse so you will need that" while sayingit the girl notices Ken's sad looking smile.
"You don't have to though, and how about you?" The girl asked, as she was confused why Ken looked like that.
Now the girl is curious as what have happened to Ken to look like that.
"Don't worry my house is just around the corner over there, so I'll just run for it" then Ken sprinted after.
"Ah wait I ha-" the girl still wanted to asked Ken something but he hurriedly ran, so he couldn't hear her voice.
"I still wanted to thank him though, hmmph" the girl said with an annoyed look in her face,
"What an interesting guy, what could have happened to him though, well It doesn't matter I'll just look for him later and ask" and then she smiled while walking away.
After that, a luxurious vehicle stopped at the front of the girl and a guy in a black suit came out.
"Maam" as he open the door for the girl
It turns out that the guy in the suit is a butler and the girl got in as if she knew the guy then droved away. (Who is that girl really?)
After a few days...
Ken is preparing to go to school. He's living in an apartment alone and is also the one providing for himself now, his only relative uncle Albert provides him with some money but he still need to work for himself otherwise the money his uncle gives him wouldn't be enough for all his living expenses and school necessities. He would work in different part time jobs, like being a server in a fast food restaurants, doing some construction works, and a cashier in some stores.
Now Ken is walking 3km to go to school instead of taking a bus to save more money from fairs.
When he arrived at the school, Ken notices that some people are running around and gossiping about someone famous and well knowned individual who supposedly transfered in their school as a third year student.
"Huh? What's happening right now?" In Ken's thoughts as he walk through the hallway.
When he finally enters the classroom Ken bumped into May and when may is about to talk to him his friend Josh called for him to share something, that's why Ken hurriedly go to josh to avoid May, because it's still awkward for him to talk to her.
"Hey Ken good morning! Are you okay now?" Josh is asking about Ken's condition after what happened between him and May
"Yeah I think" Ken replied with an unsure look.
"Really?... Okay nevermind that I have something to tell you"
"What is it?" Ken replied.
"Actually there's been rumors that Lisa Mariana transfered to our school today and I heard she's really beautiful bro, can't wait to see her right now"
"Lisa Mariana? Who's that?" Ken doesn't know her because he's not that much interested in celebrities or other famous people and most of all he's busy living his own life that he doesn't really bother himself with other people exept for the ones he already know.
"Bruh I can't believe you, you really don't know Lisa Mariana? How are you still alive without a care in the world? Josh sigh with a disappointed look in his face.
"I'll tell you who that girl real- ah ah ah ouch it hurt it hurts" while Josh is about to tell Ken of who the girl really is, their teacher arrived and is already in Josh's back.
"How about I tell you to sit down now because I have something to announce" as the teacher pulled Josh's ear to make him sit.
While Ken is laughing at Josh, he notices someone entering their classroom and as to his surprise that person is the girl he saw a few days ago while going home.
"Wha- why is she here?" Ken is in a state of shock seeing the girl .
"Now listen everyone, I have someone to introduce to you all, this is Lisa Mariana, as you all know she is a daughter of the Ceo in a famous pharmaceutical company, the Mariana cosmetics, and she's also a famous model for their products, and now she's transferring to this school as your classmate"
After the teacher introduced her, Lisa saw Ken sitting in the back behind Josh near the window, when Ken notices that she was looking at him he got embarrassed and looked away. Before the teacher could ask Lisa where to sit, she deliberately choose the empty sit next to Ken.
"Oii Ken she's coming here and she's going to sit next you" as Josh excitedly talked to Ken.
"Shut up don't talk to me" while Ken is still looking at the window to avoid Lisa.
"Hi your Ken right?" Lisa sits down and talked to Ken.
"Ahhh Hello Uh hahaha, how did you know my name?" Ken turned around and greeted her with an awkward face.
"I've been searching for you after that day and while I'm preparing to transfer here I also coincidentally found you exactly in this school, that's why I asked my father to put me here in this class just to be your classmate"
"What you really did that? But nevermind that why are you looking for me in the first place?"
"To thank you of course" Lisa replied with a smile.
"What? I didn't really helped you that much though"
"Ehh wait you two know each other?!, Wait you know Lisa Ken?, you just said earlier that you don't know her right? Are you lying to me bro? and you helped her? You really need to explain to me what is happening" Josh butted in at the conversation as he looked so shocked and surprised at whats happening.
"No I don't really know her, I just saw her the other day while I'm going home that's all"
"He didn't just saw me he also helped me" Lisa replied at what Ken said.
"I really didn't helped her, I Just gi-" as Ken going to explain the teacher saw them talking.
"Hey you boys at the back stop talking and listen here" the teacher shouts at them and the conversation ended.
"I'll talk to you about this later" Josh gazed at Ken with fiery looking eyes.
While this is happening, on the other side of the classroom, May is looking at them while they are talking to each other and she looked like worried about something.
After that class May approached Ken to talk about something but Josh called him again and Ken immediately go to Josh to avoid May again. As Ken and Josh are about to talk as to what have really happened, Lisa interrupted them.
"Hey Ken, do you want to have dinner with me? I really wanted to thank you for what you did that day" Lisa's
"What?" Ken is startled of what he just heard
But Josh is much more Startled than Ken
"Wha- whaaaatt!!! a dinner with you?" Josh is so surprised that he accidentally shouted so loud.
A teacher passing by scolded him so Ken and Lisa had the time to talk to each other.
"You don't need to do that just because of what I did that day, it's not really that big of a deal"
"I know but I'm not inviting you just because of that, actually I also have something to ask to you, but don't worry you can bring Josh with you anyway"
"Uhhhmm okay if that's fine with you I'll take it" Ken replied and called Josh after getting scolded from the passing by teacher.
They Immediately got inside in Lisa's car and Josh gotshocked again that he almost lost himself because of how luxurious Lisa's car is. While they are on their way to the place they're about to go, Ken explained to Josh of what happened about that day and expectedly Josh got shocked again as to how did that happened, but they have already arrived at the restaurant so Lisa couldn't explain why did she ended up like that that day. As they entered the restaurant Josh who's always surprised is oddly not fazed by the look of the restaurant that even though it's so big and beautiful they are the only people there.
"Woah your surprisingly quiet Josh, what happened to you?" When he looked around at Josh he is just standing at the Entrance and dazed as he looked at the whole building.
"Woahhhhhhhhh" Josh is so surprised that he is unexpectedly talking so soft and quiet but not because he's not surprised anymore but because he lost all of his energy to all the things that happened all day.
But after the three entered the restaurant, there is someone outside that is secretly observing them since they arrived. After a few minutes he left.
The guy who's observing them have gone back to a different school and reported to someone.
"Sir Luca I saw Lisa entering a private restaurant with two guys" as the guy said while talking to someone who looked like his boss.
"Really? Investigate that two and find out who they are" the Boss slowly turned around while speaking calmly and looked at the guy with a cold looking eyes.
