Nothing can hide Bubsy's excitement as he saw Jackson.
He waved his little arms and ran toward Jackson.
Bubsy looked like a cute little duckling. His yellow-hooded raincoat swayed as he ran toward Jackson.
Jackson scooped Bubsy up with one hand while holding an umbrella in the other. He wiped away the droplets on Bubsy's cheek. Jackson did not mind at all that Bubsy's raincoat and boots were covered in mud.
"It's raining. You should stay inside. Why did you come out to play in the rain?" asked Jackson.
Bubsy didn't seem to feel the seriousness in his father's tone. He didn't know that Jackson was lecturing him.
He looked at Jackson and asked, "Where's Mama?" Bubsy's question accidentally hit Jackson's sore spot. "Mama will return in a few days," Jackson answered gently.
Bubsy could not hide his disappointment as he pouted his tiny little lips.
