Elijah was suspicious about Jackson's ostensible boldness.
"Jackson doesn't look like someone who could cook," Maeve uttered anxiously.
"We'll see..." Elijah said placidly.
The maids were also shocked when Jackson stepped into the kitchen. They had just finished preparing Elijah and Maeve's breakfast when he came in. "Please let us know if you need any assistance, Mr. Cunningham."
Jackson waved and answered, "Go ahead with what you're working on. I can handle this."
The Stone family's kitchen was truly spacious and comfortable. There were six stoves alone, which allowed them to prepare different dishes at the same time when there was a large crowd.
The maids felt uneasy because of the appearance of Jackson. While two of them waited nervously for his command, the other took the breakfast out to the dining table.
