Looking this grandmother, I understood Teon a lot better now. I really understood why he was so untrusting of others. How could he when the people he was supposed to trust most were this unreliable?
I really wanted to yell at her for talking to Teon that way. What was wrong with this woman? I then moved and covered her view of Teon. Teon was standing by the carriage, far from his grandmother. You could see the visible fear in his eyes at the sight of his grandmother.
"You're mistaken, we haven't come here for that," I started calmly. "Also, that is rude to address the Crown Prince in such a manner. A punishable offence, in fact."
Although I'd stopped myself from yelling at her, I still couldn't help but reprimand her in some way.
