Chapter 13 - Titles can be misleading too

[I found out that I was incapable of writing without the POV setting, so I will try without it. You know, if I can't Experiment in my own story, when will I learn.]

[Whole fucking draft of 2000 words goes to shit when your laptop battery dies and you don't save, that also drains your motivation as you have to rewrite the same thing you already had once.]

[Now I will change the plot so I don't die of boredom due to rewriting]

[Fucking sunnovabitch, wrote about 1200 words and then saw the spelling of Durmstrang was wrong everywhere, thought like Microsoft word, there should be a replace shortcut here and pressed ctrt+R and boom you have lost your chapter only 656 words saved]

[This is bullshit I am ending this chapter here and posting this, my drafts need some readjustments]

The students had left the common hall. The teachers, with the lead being Headmaster Dippet were heading towards the teacher's lounge.

"Headmaster Armando, you should have told me before pulling something like that. You just out of the blue asked- no forced promoted the two of us into your responsibilities." Minerva came strong with her points laid before the walking Headmaster Dippet.

"First of all, It was not out of the blue, Minerva. I had long since prepared you two for this day and hinted that this year was going to be my last as the Headmaster of Hogwarts." Dippet never slowed down. The teacher's room was now in sight.

"But you should have told me as the new headmaster to prepare something. I stood there without any clue what to do." Armando just scoffed as he picked one tiny little thing and shoved it in his pocket.

"He surely would have..." Minerva brought two and two together..." Unless he was unaware he would take such a step." At this Dippet was stunned. He narrowed his eyes at Minerva. Yet he spoke nothing.

Dumbledore repeated Minerva's words in his mind until he reached his conclusion. "Riots? Surely you are not afraid of some Dark lord in bloody Hogwarts, my friend?" Dumbledore doubted if those were Dippet's fears himself.

"As if! I would not have a stain on my career as Hogwarts Headmaster at the end of my term. I saw a chance and took it. This was the best time one could leave the headmaster post." Dippet had a devious grin as he replied to Dumbledore.

"No way! are those rumors real? Hogwarts same would be tarnished—especially the Gryffindors. " Minerva looked with her eyebrows up and mind twisted inside. Was this the loyalist Headmaster she had known for 40+ years (some as students, 30 as teachers)

"What are you talking about?'" Dumbledore was confused. Were they talking in some code he did not understand?

"He is talking about the hundredth Gringotts Goblin Wizard warrior tournament," Minerva explained.

"What about it? Wasn't it supposed to be happening in like another two years?" Dumbledore asked

"You dumb doo- I mean Dumbledore. The tournament is indeed after a year and a half, but its participants' names will be given soon tomorrow. In my 200 years as headmaster, I do not have any student reach the quarter-finals- big deal. But the goblins are removing us from participating this year. They said and I quote, "British wizards are sissiess towering wands penetrating their pus-" You know the gist. The bigger problem is that they will be replacing it with those Durmstrang bastards."

Dippet had a bad history with those Durmstrang basta- I mean students. (Damn this wall)

"Now it is upon you to do something about this. I could not wait to have the new headmaster negotiate the deal with the goblins. You understand that if we do not participate the headmaster will be blamed for everything, don't you, Albus." Dippet stood, as if proud of his decision, and left the area.

"Some Hufflepuff you are! loyal you are they said! prosper we will they said! Now, what Am I to do?" Albus Dumbledore, the grand sorcerer was now in peril.

"I am loyal to Hogwarts and am proud of my accomplishments while my term at Hogwarts. Even if one of my proteges is the dark lord himself whole ideology I do not support even for a second, I am proud, proud of siring a strong wizard. And it's not that big of a deal, I was to leave tomorrow, telling you today of your duties. One day does not matter, my dear friend Albus. Why even bother with the likes of those Goblins?"

'As if it's not a big deal! this breaks one of the clauses between the Hogwarts Gringotts deal of 1456' Minerva grimaced at the man who was saving his turban from fire while pushing others into the pit.

"I am leaving now, may you be the best HEadmaster Minerv- I mean Albus Dumbledore." Dippet announced 'As if! the only reason you are headmaster is that Minerva is young. Dumbledore may be the strongest but HEadmaster? that's a big no-no.' Dippet swallowed his thoughts while having a prideful face.

"Minerva? what should be done?" Dumbledore asked

"It is not that big of a deal, our students will shine, as for the Goblins, negotiate something with them. Firwick's talent of being born as a Half-Goblin will come in handy" She turned to Fitwick "Professor, I leave the deal with the goblins in your hands, deal with it."

"As for you, prepare a speech for tomorrow, and make an announcement in tomorrow's paper of the change in authority. Hogwarts' headmaster is not to be taken lightly."

"Better yet announce it is a matter of pride to win against Goblins, let them participate, we have a year and a half, maybe we could grab some twigs in the end. Let us end this meeting today, it's late." She turned "While at it, Fitwick, manage our participation by some means, we could just make some galleon prize if someone outperforms even a single of those greedy little- sorry no offense Fitwick."

"None taken, I consider myself lucky I got the best of both parts." Fitwick replied as the retired to their rooms that night.
