help me to improve the story by sharing your thoughts about this book and what to put in it.

the village where Gunka take Rick to is located some few minutes behind Gunda's house. it looks like Gunda house intentionally placed to directly face the Silent Prairie while the village located behind the house, hidden away from direct view by a small layer of thick tree.
Rick don't even care about thia detail but Gunka happily explain that the reason for their house placed as such is because Gunda is the guardian of Silent Prairie.
Gunda's job is to protect the prairie from any damage while also protecting the village from any danger that come from the prairie itself. what kind of danger is that, not even Gunka know about it.
after going through a small road that is located in between some big tree, Rick started to hear sounds of activity.
metal smithing, wood working, horse neigh while pulling a cart, chattering of people be it child or adult. the village, that for Rick basic standard can be considered as small town, is literally full of life and activity. so much that even Rick forget about his broken heart and started to look around.
the design of this village, Gunka said named as Sirin Village, is a combination of ancient south east asian multiple culture. as someone who actually live in Indonesia, which is one with the most diverse kind of culture, Rick can tell that what he see in Sirin village is a javanese style, sumatran style and papuas style mashed up together into a place.
there is one building with wide front porch and protected with short fence made of wood that is so very like a javanese style building.
another one, that is turn out to be a smithing shop, is look like a sumatran ethnic house that have curved roof and a thick pillar with animal head hung on it at the front.
"Gunka, are these people native of Sirin Village? " Rick ask out of curiosity.
"why you ask that? " Gunka said in confused as he never guess the first thing Rick ask about the village is about its people origin.
"well i can't help to notice that there several type of building that is very different from one another. and based on my experience, people tend to build their home close to what their original ancestor home look like. " Rick tried to explain because Gunda have said his origin as otherworlder must kept hidden for his own safety. Gunda didn't said why tho.
"weird you notice that first. with so many people from many different culture here, i thought will notice the people first.
but to answer your question, yes the villagers are mostly from many different origin. i don't know the name of their ethnic group or where their origin from, but they are nice and everyone is living here in peace. " said Gunka as he look around.
after that short conversation, Gunka take Rick around that is reachable by walk. Gunka show Rick the Smithing Shop where people buy metalic tools and also protection tools against enemy like weapon and armor.
then Gunka take Rick to a Potion Shop, which is javanese themed, and show Rick the many potion it sells. Gunka tried to prank Rick by telling him to try one of the potion. he said that this potion will help invigorate the body and good for health.
luckily Rick recognize the similarity between the potion Gunka mentioned with Jamu, traditional medicine from Java Island, and know that this potion will be very bitter. Rick succesfully avoid the potion and even made Gunka drink it himself, that make his attitude turn bitter to Rick for a while. Rick can only laugh on that.
after some more walk, Gunka and Rick arrived at a wide green field that is bordered by short stone wall. in the field Rick can see some people, male and female, facing each other with weapons on their hands.
"hey Gunka, are they some kind of soldier or trainee? " Rick asked.
"hmmm? oh no they are just students. Sirin Village enforce everyone to learn to defend themself with at least a weapon just to make sure that no one dare to do anything irresponsible. " said Gunka.
"but won't that make the irresponsible one more dangerous? they know how to wield weapon since young. it just take some desperation for them to start hurting someone. " Rick said again.
"maybe, but the security guard here is also very fast and responsive. so before anyone get hurt, the security will always be there to help. and even if they're late, we can protect ourself too to buy some time. so.. everything just fine at the end. " Gunka said.
'so there is this kind of safe society. very different from earth' Rick tought.
"while we are here, why not we try to have some excersice by having a spar? . i am already graduated from basic school but i do train here with some other guard trainee or adventurer sometimes. you can fight right? " Gunka said as he invite Rick to a spar.
"can i refuse the invitation? " asked Rick.
Gunka look at Rick eyes intensely. after a bit of time Gunka put a teasing smile.
"oh you baby woo, afraid to get hurt ya? "
irked by that mocking smile, Rick smack his fist to his palm.
"get in there. you asked for it. "
