Chapter nine:
(Inside Cale's dreams.) He saw two men fighting and one of the men cut the other's limbs off. He was groaning from the pain when the other one yelled. "You were the Chosen One. It was said you would destroy the Sith not join them, bring balance to the Force not leave it in darkness." The man on the ground screamed. "I hate you." The other turned around to say. "You were my brother Anakin, I loved you." (Anakin... I feel like I heard that name before but where.) Anakin then burst into flames. Burning him severely. The man then left Anakin to die. Then Cale Lestin saw a familiar face Emperor Palpatine's. "Go get a medical capsule, Emperor Palpatine said. (Could this have been another apprentice Emperor Palpatine had?) She then saw Anakin given prosthetics he then saw a familiar mask bring put on Anakin. (No it can't be.) "Lord Vader." Said Emperor Palpatine. "Yes, my Master?" Replied Darth Vader. "Rise." Said Emperor Palpatine.
Cale Lestin then jumped up with sweat dripping all over him. The dreams he had were so vivid. Had they been real? He then got up from the hospital bed and put on his Sith robes and tied Padme's long brown hair into a bun with a black hair tie. And then they went to his master's personal chamber to ask if it was true.
Cale Lestin and Padme Amidala stood inside a room with a huge meditation chamber where Emperor Palpatine kept himself inside. The meditation chamber opened and Emperor Palpatine said without looking at him. "So you are my apprentice?" Emperor Palpatine asked.
Darth Zeth got on one knee and bowed to him. "Yes, my master." Replied Cale Lestin.
"You seem to be hesitant about something. What is it you wish to ask?" Asked Emperor Palpatine.
Cale Lestin did not stand back up but spoke. "While I was sleeping I had vivid dreams." Said Cale Lestin.
Interrupting him Emperor Palpatine said.
"The Force can let you see into the future and the past. That is probably what you saw."
"Yes, but, (pause.) "Before you trained me did you have another apprentice named Anakin Skywalker?" Asked Cale Lestin.
Emperor Palpatine got up and walked right up to her bearing down on him. "Do not ever speak that name in my presence again. Do you understand?" Asked Emperor Palpatine.
"Yes, my master." Replied Cale Lestin.
"Good now observe how things are going on the bridge." Said Emperor Palpatine.
Darth Zeth stood up and left the room. As he left the room Emperor Palpatine thought to himself. "I do not want him to remember that name because that name no longer applies to me." There was still a part of him, a small part, that remained Anakin Skywalker's master and if his enemies found that part out they could use it against him or worse what would Cale Lestin think of him. That's right, despite his tough exterior he cared about what a twenty four year old boy would think of him. Even though he did not show it he thought of Cale Lestin as a son. He also knew from reading his mind he thought of him as a father too. He promised himself that he would never let himself be in this kind of situation again and yet here he was caring for another person.
The visor screen sizzled as a picture of General Veers came on screen. "Emperor Palpatine, Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala had just taken the Naboo Royal Starship and is going into hyperspace." Said General Veers.
"What? Tell the crew to lock on their position and follow them while you still can commander and get me a secure channel to talk to them." Replied Emperor Palpatine.
General Veers picture disappeared and a picture of Darth Zeth and Padme Amidala appeared. Emperor Palpatine stood up and yelled. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"
Darth Zeth responded with. "If you won't tell me about your Anakin's past then I will find out by myself."
"Darth Zeth I demand you come back immediately and I promise not to punish you severely." Said Emperor Palpatine.
"We will come back (pause.) "When we are good and ready." Said Padme Amidala. She shut off the connection and they went into hyperspace.
Emperor Palpatine stood there feeling more angry then ever before. He switched the visor screen back to General Veers. "General ready my shuttle." Yelled Emperor Palpatine.
General Veers started to visibly shake. "Yes Emperor Palpatine." Replied General Veers.
As the Eclipse went into hyperspace Emperor Palpatine would show Darth Zeth that no one disobeyed the dark lord of the Sith not even his own apprentice.
