"Don't take the classes lightly," Berry warned as she adjusted her robes and prepared to head toward the lecture halls. "The fighting grounds aren't far from here, but the masters are strict. Not attending or showing up late will result in points being deducted from your permanent record."
She began to walk toward the neighbouring building, but turned back one last time to shout over her shoulder. "And don't get used to resting! I'll be here tomorrow morning to nag you until you get out of bed. You aren't missing the morning session!"
"I'm not going tomorrow!" William shouted back toward Berry's retreating figure. She didn't even turn around, simply waving a dismissive hand as she vanished into her own residence. William stood on his porch, a mix of amusement and faux-exasperation on his face.
