Chapter 19 - Ch 19: Forging A Sword

Lucas was astonished to the point where his mouth opened so wide that a duck's egg could fit inside. That pair of eyes were glazed to the extreme.

He couldn't help but curse, "Monster!"

Although he didn't understand the series of incidents that just happened in front of his eyes, he could still tell that Aiden was now completely fine for some reason, and even his strength increased by two levels.

Aiden opened his eyes and let out a deep breath. He was very calm.

Lucas came back to his senses. He pinched the tip of his nose, looked at Aiden with an unbelievable gaze, and asked with a puzzled expression: "How did you do it?"

"What?" Aiden asked, looking confused.

"Your injuries... they were so severe, but all your injuries recovered just like that under the halo of golden glow!" As Lucas said, he realized something and spoke again: "Wait! Golden glow? It disappeared! This..."

"Care to explain?"

Aiden understood what Lucas wanted to know.

He would, of course, not tell Lucas the truth. He knew the importance of some secrets. To make Lucas give up this topic, he added: "Let's forget about me. I admire you a lot you know. You killed such a terrifying Star Beast by yourself. And since you are here, it must mean you have also dealt with all those people. That is amazing!"

Lucas stared at Aiden's entire body and curled his lips: "Hey, you bastard, I'm not stupid. Don't think that you could avoid this topic! Answer me, how did your injuries heal so quickly? What was that golden glow?"

Aiden coughed a little: "Cough, this is a secret."

"Tch!" Lucas waved his hand, looking at him with disdain, "What are you being arrogant for? What have I not seen before? Do you think I'll take any interest in your little secret? Keep it with you if you don't want to speak."

Aiden was awkward and speechless. He could only smile bitterly.

The two of them returned to the ambush area together. There was a pile of corpses lying here, and one of them was the Fire Origin Beast that had not been tidied up.

Lucas was very excited at the moment and laughed loudly: "Hahaha! I had originally thought that I could only obtain one Fire Source Beast Crystal, but who would have thought that this big guy would deliver it himself, allowing me to take advantage of it."

He quickly started to dissect the entire Fire Origin Beast's body like a pig being butchered, flaying its skin and removing its tendons and bones. He threw all of them to Aiden without even turning his head, "These are good stuff, take them. They'll definitely bring your strength to at least Level 9 of Third-tier Star Warrior!"

Aiden's eyes lit up when he heard this.

Lucas, on the other hand, continued dissecting the beast until he finally separated the layers of fleshes of the beast and extracted an incomparably large, blazing crystal core!

The crystal core was still burning hot.

This time, Lucas did not dare to use his hands. He directly took out a metal box and stored the crystal core inside. He was extremely excited.

After finishing this, Lucas felt a sense of relief wash over him. He sat down on the grass, laid back, and gazed up at the sky. A pleased smile tugged at his lips. Muttering to himself, he said, "Once I refine the Star Explosive Balls with these two Fire Origin Beasts' crystals, I'll blow up that group of arrogant fools! And they had the nerve to say that Rune Masters are useless?"

His voice was low, clearly referring to some people from before.

After that, he glanced at Aiden indifferently. Aiden took the initiative to set up a fire and grill and placed a piece of python meat on top of it to roast. This task was simple.

Aiden had just finished recovering from injuries. Although it was the work of Golden Dragon Pearl, it still resulted in exhausting Aiden, making him hungry again!

Lucas was speechless. He looked at the Fire Origin Beast bones and his eyes lit up. After which he thought of an idea.

Lucas immediately walked to Aiden's side happily and asked seriously: "You don't have a weapon, right?"

"Yes, I don't have it!" Aiden nodded.

Lucas clapped his hands and said, "Alright! Let me tell you a secret. Although my main profession is Rune Master, I can still refine weapons. I secretly learned Weapon Forging Arts from an old man in my family. I will use the bones of this Fire Origin Beast to forge a sword for you!"

Aiden was momentarily stunned. He looked at Lucas with doubt and asked: "Why are you so kind to suddenly forge a weapon for me?"

Lucas's expression immediately darkened upon hearing Aiden's words. He glared at him and snapped, "How can you be so dense? I was trying to look out for you! I even considered forging a weapon for you, and this is how you show your gratitude?"

"Cough! No no, I'm especially grateful, thank you!" Aiden smiled embarrassingly, coughed, and thanked Lucas. He was not stupid enough to let go of such an opportunity!

Lucas glanced at him, then shifted her gaze and started to prepare to forge a weapon for Aiden.

"Do you know what it is?" Lucas showed a ring to Aiden and asked.

Aiden frowned and shook his head, he has no idea!

Lucas smiled. He replied: "Looks like you came from a small city that's why you don't know. This is a Spatial Ring, it is used to store many things inside. Although I brought a backpack with me, all my important things are stored inside it!"

Saying this, Lucas started taking out his treasures. His Spatial Ring was simply like a treasure pot. He took out all kinds of weapon forging equipment, such as Quicksand Snowy Essence, Frost Meteorite, Frost Jade Iron, etc.

Although he took out many materials, there was one thing in common. These all materials were ice attributed!

After that, he picked out the best piece of the Fire Origin Beast's bones and piled them together with the other materials. He was ready to start forging.

Aiden had never seen someone forging a weapon before, but he had heard of it. A Weapon Master would need to place the materials into the mold and use Star Energy to control the fire in order to forge a weapon.

A Third-tier Star Warrior doesn't have even a single trace of Star Energy in their body. A Third-tier Star Warrior becomes a Second-tier Star Warrior after introducing the first strand of Star Energy into their body, however, before that, they have to reach Level 9 of the Third tier.

And only Level 9 Second-tier Star Warriors and above could control Star Energy easily, and even manipulate flame, ice, wind, and other such elements.

Since Lucas was going to forge a weapon for him, it was clear that Lucas was at least a Level 9 Second-tier Star Warrior.

Aiden was shocked. He did not expect Lucas to be this strong. It was no wonder he was able to take care of so many opponents easily. Although the runic sword did help, it is also a fact that controlling a runic sword requires enough strength. Without enough strength, no one could control the runic sword.

Aiden was curious. His eyes were fixed on Lucas's hands, afraid that he would miss out on some detail.

He suddenly realized that Lucas was just arranging the materials into a pile without putting any molds in. He was puzzled.

Lucas closed his eyes to focus.

In his right hand, a ball of purple flames slowly condensed and floated above his palm. The flames were steaming and the high temperature that they emitted caused Aiden to be extremely serious.

Lucas nimbly controlled the purple flame with one hand and calmly spoke, "This flame is called the Purple Flame. It appeared when a senior of my family killed a Blue Spirit Stage Star Beast. After that, he gave me this fire."

"Hiss!" Aiden suddenly took a deep breath and stared fixedly at the ball of purple flames as it pulsated. He was incredibly shocked, and exclaimed inwardly: 'Blue Spirit Stage Star Beast? How powerful?'

Lucas curled his lips and laughed helplessly: "Ai, too bad I can't control this flame completely right now because of my lack of strength. I'm only a Level 9 Second-tier Star Warrior after all. I can use 30% of this flame's power at most, so forging a treasure is still okay. If I were to go a little higher, I might not be able to control it and burn myself to ashes."

Aiden shook his head. He suddenly realized that Lucas seemed to have an inexhaustible trump card such as Flame Bullets, Explosive Balls, Runic Swords, and now the Purple Flame. He seemed to have endless trump cards. Aiden even guessed that this was definitely not the end!

With so many trump cards, it is no wonder Lucas was able to kill so many people. He was arrogant, but he did have the qualifications to be arrogant!

At this time, Aiden suddenly felt the Golden Dragon Pearl vibrating inside him, giving him a direction to go.

Aiden turned his head to look in that direction, and didn't know what he should do!
