At that moment, Aiden stood tall, despite the pain in his lower back. In his hand, he gripped a broken spike. It was the tip of a wooden spike.
Lucas had inscribed runes on all the wooden spikes, greatly enhancing their power. This was why Aiden had been able to severely injure the man who was about to attack Lucas.
