Clyde grinned. Then he dashed away again. His body moved through the surrounding debris, he moved between buildings and floating slabs of land.
The three serpentine monsters immediately pursued him, their furious hisses echoing through the ruined city. They were faster than the first one.
Their enormous bodies twisted through the air as they chased him, their wings beating violently and sending shockwaves through the ruins.
While Clyde passed between two floating structures, the serpents just smashed through them. Buildings collapsed behind him. Concrete shattered. Burning vehicles were knocked from the air and disappeared somewhere.
Clyde continued running and jumping. For several minutes, the four figures tore through the ruined city, leaving destruction in their wake.
Then Clyde suddenly changed direction. His feet struck against a floating platform, and his entire body twisted around.
