Chapter Nine: Be My Girlfriend š„š¹
Alan's POV
I didn't wait. I stood up, walked across the classroom, and grabbed Astrid's wrist. Her friends gasped, but I didn't care. She belonged to me, whether she remembered or not.
I dragged her out of the room, ignoring her protests, until we reached the garden. The air was heavy, the silence thick. I pinned her against a tree, my eyes burning into hers.
"Be my girlfriend," I said, voice low and dangerous. "And I won't take no for an answer."
Astrid's eyes widened. "What?" she whispered, disbelief in her tone.
Then her anger flared. "You just dragged me away from my friends, pinned me here like some criminal, and now you're demanding I be your girlfriend? Are you insane?"
Her words cut, but I leaned closer, my hand pressing against the bark beside her head.
"I'll give you until home time to decide. But if you say noā¦" I smirked, my voice dripping with menace. "You'll regret challenging the devil prince."

Astrid's Resistance
She shoved at my chest, her voice trembling but fierce.
"You think you can scare me into saying yes? I'm not afraid of you, Alan. You're just a bully who hides behind anger. You can't force me to love you."
Her defiance sent fire through my veins. I wanted to crush her resistance, but at the same time, I admired it. No one else dared speak to me like that.

Alex's Intervention ā The Fight
"Alan!" Alex's voice cut through the tension. He had followed us, his eyes blazing with fury.
"Let her go. This isn't the way. You'll destroy her before she even has a chance to heal."
I turned, my jaw tight. "Stay out of this, angel brother. You don't know what it's like to be forgotten."
Alex stepped closer, fists clenched. "I know what it's like to lose. But if you keep pushing, she'll hate you forever. And you'll lose her twice."
That was the last straw. I lunged at him, and Alex met me head-on. We collided in the garden, fists flying, rage spilling out. Students rushed in, forming a circle, their voices rising in a chaotic cloud of shouts and gasps.
"Fight! Fight!" someone yelled.
Others screamed for teachers.
Astrid stood frozen, her eyes wide, torn between fear and disbelief.

The Consequences
Teachers finally broke through the crowd, pulling us apart. My lip was bleeding, Alex's shirt torn. The principal's face was pale with fury.
"You two are princes, not animals!" she shouted. "Do you realize you almost got expelled today? This school cannot survive your chaos!"
We were dragged to the office, where our mother was already waiting. Her eyes were sharp, her voice trembling with anger.
"You shame this family," she scolded. "Alan, Alex ā you are brothers! How dare you fight like enemies in front of the whole school? Do you want the world to see you as monsters instead of leaders?"
Her words cut deeper than any punch. Alex lowered his head. I clenched my fists, silent, but inside I was burning.

Astrid's Inner Conflict
Later, Astrid sat alone, replaying everything. Alan's aggression, his possessive words, the fight with Alex, the chaos that followed.
"He's crazy," she whispered. "Completely insane."
But her heart betrayed her. Why did his words feel so real? Why did his eyes look like they were begging me, not threatening me?
---
In the mean time
At the school gate, Astrid ran as if escaping a nightmare. But deep inside, she couldn't shake the echo of his voice.
He's insane⦠but why do I feel like he meant it?
