Chapter 22: Shop

---Star Gain---

The meeting with the Uchiha Clan finally brought a surge of crowd and attention to his channel, [UZUMAKI RAIKEN], allowing him to surpass 1,000 subscribers at last.

With this milestone, he unlocked special benefits—he could now purchase skills from other worlds, such as Haki, Magic, and more. However, the prices varied depending on the world, and he first needed to unlock access to each one.

Although he had managed to accumulate 300,000 stars so far, the cost to unlock a new world platform was astronomically high. For example, unlocking access to One Punch Man required 1 billion stars, while One Piece needed 500 million stars.

He had no idea if he would ever be able to gather that many stars—but he knew one thing: he had to keep going because the enemy won't wait for you to become strong, the person like Danzo will attack you at the back and at your weakest.

---Konohagakure Hokage Office---

"Hiruzen, I told you.... they're hiding something!" Danzo shouted, slamming his fist onto the desk. "Look at what's happened now. That boy has formed a marriage alliance with the Uchiha Clan without us even knowing!"

"Danzo, be quiet," Hiruzen replied, rubbing his temples in frustration. He was already exhausted from handling village matters, and Danzo's constant paranoia only made things worse. "Even if you think they've done something wrong, how exactly do you suggest we deal with them? If you truly have a solution, speak up and I'll consider giving you the authority to act."

"I..." Danzo faltered, caught off guard by Hiruzen answer. He opened his mouth, but no words came out.

At that moment, the door to the Hokage office swung open and Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu walked in, their expressions unreadable.

"Danzo, you're here already," said Homura calmly.

"Why even ask if you can see me standing right here?" Danzo sneered, crossing his arms.

Homura and Koharu took their seats on the stools near Hiruzen, glancing at one another before Koharu turned to Danzo with a slight frown.

"So," she said, "have you come to pressure Hiruzen again over the Uchiha-Uzumaki alliance?"

Danzo gritted his teeth. Hiruzen smirked slightly, while Homura chuckled and gave Koharu a discreet thumbs-up.

Before Danzo could retort, Hiruzen raised a hand. "Homura, Koharu, since you're here—what do you think about Danzo concerns regarding the Uzumaki-Uchiha alliance?"

"I think it's a good thing," Koharu replied bluntly. "If anyone should be afraid, it's Danzo. After all, it was his betrayal that turned the Uzumaki Clan into possible enemies in the first place."

Danzo clenched his jaw. "I did it for us—for the future of Konoha. For you! All of you!"

"Don't be a hypocrite, Danzo," Koharu snapped. "Even if you say that now, none of us believe it. There's far more value in having the Uzumaki Clan as allies than wiping them out. You've endangered the balance of this village and the other village too."

"Because of your actions, the Uzumaki became suspicious of us," Homura added. "And now they've aligned with the one clan you've always wanted to suppress. It's your mess. And frankly, Hiruzen, why are you still letting him command Root?"

Hiruzen remained silent for a moment, weighing their words. Deep down, he agreed with them. Danzo obsession with control had nearly cost them an invaluable ally. The Uzumaki Clan possessed unmatched knowledge in fuinjutsu—something the village desperately needed, especially as tensions rose between the Five Great Nations.

Had Danzo succeeded in wiping them out completely, they would have lost not just a clan, but generations of knowledge, power, and potential. Hiruzen was quietly thankful that the plan had failed.

But dismissing Danzo? No, the man is more valuable, he knows he can't do something unspeakable and he still need Danzo to do the Dark side. Kill someone who he can't kill with normal anbu, doing experiment which he can't do with Anbu. That is why eventhough he angry with Danzo, he still need him as root leader.

"You're all short-sighted!" Danzo suddenly snarled. "If the Uzumaki had been wiped out, Lady Mito could've passed on her knowledge to us, all her knowledge. We could've kept control. But now? Now we have an entire clan of chakra monsters with dangerous knowledge, walking freely in our village."

"Danzo," Hiruzen said, his voice calm but sharp as a blade. The room fell silent.

"If I gave you the authority to manage the Uzumaki Clan within Konoha—what would you do?"

Danzo's eyes narrowed. A slow, calculating smirk crept across his face as he replied, "I'd bring them under our rule. I'd integrate them—monitor them closely. Every seal they create, every scroll they write, every ninja they train… would be ours to command. I'd place my best operatives among them, earn their trust, and remove any leader who dares to challenge our authority."

Hiruzen's expression darkened. The others sat in stunned silence, realizing just how far Danzo was willing to go.

"And what if they resist?" Hiruzen asked coldly.

"Then they're enemies," Danzo said without hesitation. "And enemies of Konoha must be eliminated."

"It is too late Danzo, I have already signed the agreement and it is impossible to take back my words" said Hiruzen. "Furthermore they are Lady mito who will stop your nonsense."

Danzo gritted his teeth because of Hiruzen agreement with Uzumaki clan.

---Income---

Raiken had divided the Uzumaki Clan into groups within Konoha. Children under 12 years old were sent to the Konoha Academy as students. Some of the women were assigned to take care of the orphans, while those with knowledge in fuinjutsu were tasked with helping the clan open a shop.

Fortunately, they had brought all their money with them, so they had enough funds to purchase a few shops.

Observing the local market, Raiken noticed that the Akimichi Clan had opened a barbecue restaurant, which perfectly matched their Kekkei Genkai. Raiken understood that, besides scrolls, he could open other types of businesses. However, he decided to prioritize a fuinjutsu scroll shop, since even the children in the clan were already familiar with drawing fuinjutsu diagrams. This was one of the clan's specialties.
