Kimberly was still reeling from the fact that William talked nicely to her and then touched her after Journee called her a tattletale. Well, she didn't call her a tattletale; she just asked her not to tell anything to her uncle Bobby, but Kimberly was hurt by that insinuation. William never touched her before. He only did that in her childhood, but then he let Zachary take her away. He just threw her away like garbage.
Journee had to snap her back to the land of the living. She then realised that she was staring at William with wide eyes and an open mouth. She never wanted to show her emotions before William under any circumstances, but right now her every feeling was dripping from her pores. Everyone was waiting for her to speak; she had to say something. "Say something, Kim, say something, no one can know your secret," she mumbled at the back of her head.
