Journee knew she had nothing to fear. If she couldn't get answers from Chris, her team would get the answers. And soon Graham was arriving. Chris might be the assistant director, but he had no right to play with people's emotions.
"I said, let him go," Chris's agent barked at Journee and tried to touch her, but Jack intervened. He almost growled at the agent, "if you want your hand not to be broken, don't dare touch her."
In the midst of that drama, Journee had no time to pay attention to that. She needed answers, and only Chris could give them. She demanded to know who called her father. She told him that someone from his office called her father, and then everything toppled like a house of cards.
"How would I know who called him from my office? Do you have any idea how many agents are there in the FBI?" asked Chris.
