Once I was done getting the things that I-we needed I started my walk towards a corner store that had chocolate bars, bags of chips and all of the other items you can think of. I wonder if they have my favourite Chocolate bar and chips in stock.
Coming up to the window of the store I saw my summer roll bars in the window and I squealed in excitement. It took them quite a while to put them back on the shelves, walking into the store and greeting the woman behind the counter before walking to the aisle that held my favourite chips and chocolate. I grabbed my chips; salt and vinegar, which I loved even though they put the roofing on top of my mouth that I can't feel after eating. But I still gonna get 'em.
I then grabbed my summer rolls, two of them and decided that I would get my mother something on the way towards the cashier. They had some chocolates that she quite enjoyed so I grabbed the picnic chocolate bar and walked towards the register. "Is that all, sweetheart."
The woman at the cash register said to me and glanced behind me and not at me. I frowned in confusion at her weirdly as I looked behind me at what she was looking at. No one but a man standing there with a black hood on and glancing this way. I felt a pitch in my stomach telling me to get out of here as soon as possible.
But I stupidly shrugged it off and looked back around to pay for my goody's and take my change from her. She looked at me in the eyes, holding my money in her hands with my own hand on top.
"That man has been following you ever since you stepped foot into my shop. Be careful out there, dear one and on your walk home. Men like this fellow here are trouble." She whispers to me and I nodded with a polite smile.
"Thank you, I will be much more careful from now on. Take care." And with that I made my way slightly quicker out of the store.
Feeling a presence that has been following behind me as I pretended to crossed over to other street and caught a glimpse of the man that was in the store as I made my way home. So, she was right about that guy he is definitely following quite closely actually.
I looked over my shoulder, seeing him disappear behind a lamp pots 'Way to be obvious' and I felt an uneasy sensation in my gut again. It was the feeling I felt back there at the shop. I might have to see if he is actually following me or not. Fingers crossed as I started to take the long way home that I never take in to the woods. I only take this way to have peace and quiet away from the loud voices of people gathered at places that are very loud, full of drunken bum people.
Taking a left behind a corner and coming up to a dirt pathway leading into a forest. I slightly and quickly looked over my shoulder again and saw no sight of the man following me from before. Phew, he's gone.
I hope?.
Smiling in victory as I was calming down my beating heart that picked up a few seconds ago from that man. I saw a figure coming around the corner as he stopped to see me as I caught a glimpse of a grin on his face.
Oh no, he's here. Great.
Quickly picking up the pace as I started walking again and he started to walk again with that grin that looks like he was saying found you plastered on his hideous face. I panicked and quickly walked faster hearing his footsteps picking up the pass as well.
A root of a tree trunk that was out of the around made me trip, I wasn't even far enough inside the forest.
Groaning in pain, as a painful feeling had shot up through my leg. I leaned over to see my jeans ripped, a gash on my knee that was flowing with blood, dripping onto the forest ground. I looked up to see the man right in front of me.
Oh no
As I tried getting up I winced from the pain in my leg as he bent down in front of me, looking down at my wound on my leg.
"Looks like you can't run from me anymore." The man said Laughing as he grabbed onto my knee gripping it tightly. I groaned and bit my lip while tears filled my eyes.
"Stop, that hurts." I gasped out and gritted my teeth together. He didn't stop putting pressure on my injured leg as I cried.
"Please, stop. What do you want from me." I whispered out in between sobs.
Smirking, he let go of my leg and I was panting heavily while holding it to stop it from bleeding more. Blood is now all over my jeans and hands and My vision started to go blurry with black dots clouding the vision.
"Oh, nothing much really. I want what they took from me but it seems that your father is too headless to even care what I want. Now, I'm gonna take away what they love most!".
As he said that, he looked me in the eyes as tears streamed down my face even more.
What does he mean by that..my father doesn't live with us and now he's hurting his daughter. He's gonna cop it when I tell my mother about this or maybe not tell my mom about it. Only father..
Before gulping down the lump in my throat called fear. "A-and what is that?"
I mumbled out in between hiccups. "You will see.." he says chuckling.
