Rune sighed as he began his descent over the other side of the ridge. "What's the matter?" Shiro asked, glancing up at him.
"Nothing. I've just had to many close call during this journey. It is tiring."
It was almost to the point that he was having more near-death experiences then all of his other encounters combined. Rune was starting to wonder if this journey was cursed or something.
Shiro did not say anything and just looked away. She agreed. There had been many close calls. They were almost out, though, and she was determined to get him to rest once they returned to their base.
'maybe we can do "that" again..."
Her ears reddened slightly at the memory. It had been her first time having sex, and though the time spent with their bodies entangled had been brief, Shiro had enjoyed it immensely.
