"Can you eat that much?"
"If I can't finish, I'll pack it for a midnight snack."
Ava Kent was showing her dissatisfaction from head to toe at this moment.
Julius Goodman paused for a few seconds before saying, "I'll send you home after we finish eating."
"I won't go home, I still want to go shopping."
"I need to go back to work later, I can't accompany you. The night market is so chaotic, and I don't feel safe leaving you here alone as a girl."
Julius knew she was being difficult, and he softened his voice, "Be good."
Ava pouted; although she knew he always avoided the question and wouldn't admit he liked her because he was set up that way, still bound by the constraints of the original author, she felt stifled inside.
Just then, her phone chimed, it was a message from Mia Burton asking if the shoot was going well.
Ava replied while messaging, "A friend of mine will come over later, she has a car and can take me home later. If you're busy, go back to work."
