Chapter 19 - Massacre

Chapter 19: RW

On a bright and beautiful day, there were three young men who were blithe resting on the ground.

They were dressed in identical attire, consisting of a black jacket with white accents, a white dress shirt with a black ribbon, black pants, and a pair of brown shoes for each of them.

The young man with thick glasses on his face responded with "99-58-90." Even though he is smiling in a lewd way, he gives off the impression of being an intelligent guy.

Another young man with a buzz cut and the physique of an athlete questioned, "Rias Gremory?"

The third young man, who had ordinary features and did not give off the impression of being very intelligent or athletic, inquired, "Who?" He has a distinctive hairstyle, consisting of two pigtails at the base of his neck.

"Issei, you don't know Rias Gremory?" exclaimed the boy with the glasses.

Issei was confused by the circumstances and said, "I mean, should I?"

It had only been a week since the new year began, so the situation seemed a bit strange to him.

The young man who wore spectacles addressed the bald kid, saying, "Yo Matsuda, tell Issei who Rias Gremory is."

After waiting for a response but not receiving one, he turned to the young man with a bald head who seemed to have a perverted look on his face.

"Badly!" The boy struck Matsuda on the top of his shaved head.

"What the hell, Motohama? I was just about to get the juicy part with a loli!" exclaimed Matsuda, the bald-headed boy.

"I never understand why you like lollies. Oppies are better," said Issei, finding it wasn't much to his taste.

"Oh, shut up, Issei. FLAT IS JUSTICE!" Matsuda yelled out while striking an imposing stance and posing theatrically.

"Perve"

"Disgusting"

"Ewww"

"Die!"

The announcement made by Matsuda resounded across the area, prompting the students in the immediate vicinity to curse him.

"Blah~" Matsuda deftly turned a blind eye to the stares and comments that were sent his way.

"Oh yeah. Rias Gremory, a third year and the great onee-san of the school. I heard she wasn't able to attend last year due to not feeling well." Matsuda said as he refocused his attention on his prevented companions.

"Rias Gremory, 99-58-90. Akeno Himejima 102-60-89. They both are two great onee-san of the school," Motohama said as he adjusted the bridge of his glasses with his finger.

When Motohama was ready to continue his explanation, the ringing of the school bells prompted him to pause, and then he remarked, "Let's go to class."

Issei remained there for a while, and after some time, he saw a flash of red in the corner of his peripheral vision.

As he turned his head, he noticed a gorgeous girl with red hair and an open window. She was just as beautiful as her hair.

Issei said, "Beautiful," and what first drew his attention was the blazing red hair.

"ISSEI COME ON!" Regrettably, he was prevented from appreciating the moment more by his companion, who pulled him away.

'So he is the one?' thought the same red-haired girl, seeing Issie's back.

"Love at first sight, Rias?" enquired her sadistic friend, who was just as stunning as she was.

Rias's cheeks flushed as she heard the word "Love," and involuntarily, she reached for her hair as he tucked it behind her ear. Unconsciously, her other hand went towards her chest, feeling nostalgic.

"Woah Rias, already found yourself a man?" exclaimed her friend.

"Like he can compare-" The words of Rias were caught in her throat, and as she looked at her friend's face, which was nearly glowing, she blamed herself for falling for the ploy.

"So~ you are in love with your dream man," her best friend said.

"Grr… Enough Akeno. Now tell me about the fallen angels in the town."

A big shadowy monster brandishing a massive broadsword said, "My lord, we located the Goblin village."

Tenshi's first order of business after locating another cave for them to dwell in was to investigate whatever information he could uncover on the goblins who had besieged him.

Thankfully, after many days had passed, his four Shadow Winged-Imps discovered their colony.

Tenshi then urges Aegis to be ready since the attack will take place later that night.

These days, Tenshi was enjoying the high life, as his Shadow minions were always at his beck and call to serve him.

Tenshi does not have to go on a hunt or wash his garments since they are stained with blood. While he is working out with Kargoth on a daily basis, his Shadow servant sees to all of his requirements.

When he saw Tenshi swinging his sword, an armored Shadow Kargoth, who was also his knight, remarked to him, "Your abilities are improving, my liege."

"Thank you, Kargoth. It was all because of you," thanked Tenshi, who was being trained by Kargoth every day.

Kargoth did little more than bend his head and remained silent.

When Tenshi first saw how devoted 'his' Shadow warriors were acting, he was, of course, a bit taken aback and even felt a little overwhelmed by the situation. But thankfully, he was able to rapidly adjust to and respect that he received from his Shadow warriors.

Tenshi suddenly felt Liya rubbing herself on his neck from behind.

"Hello girl. How was the hunt?" Tenshi asked as Liya liked to hunt her own food.

Liya directed her attention to two Shadow warriors who were dragging a big demonic boar.

"Oh you got a Hellsboar!" While Tenshi's hand was scratching around Liya's ears, he then remarked, "Tonight we can celebrate after wiping off those Goblins nearby."

"Grrrr… grrrr" Liya was too busy in her world, enjoying Tenshi's scratches around her ears, as they was the most difficult to reach.

Tenshi let out a hearty laugh before asking, "How many troops do we have in Kargoth?"

Kargoth's response was, "We have four Imps, four Goblins, three Tunnel Worms, and ultimately one Abishai, my liege."

Tenshi, unfortunately only possesses 14 Shadow troops; taking into account his two warriors, he was only able to get 14 servants.

The vast majority of the goblins were un-summoned since he had little need for them. After that, he recruited a few very uncommon monsters, such as Abishai, to his army.

Considering how swift and powerful it was, it was not an easy task to capture the Abishai.

According to the evidence that Tenshi was able to collect, the Abishai are the servants of a dragon goddess who goes by the name Tiamat. It was a blessing in disguise that this Abishai was serving Duke Bel since otherwise he would not have been able to take care of it while it was flying about by itself.

"Instruct the Tunnel Worms to dig below the village and send the Imps out to conduct reconnaissance. Put the Abiashi in charge of watching over the cave. When we attack, I do not want even one goblin to get away alive!"

As soon as darkness fell, Tenshi embarked on Liya with his bone odachi and soared towards the direction of the goblins' village.

Tenshi remarked to Kargoth as they were flying over the sleeping goblin village, "I want you to remain above and make sure nothing escapes while me and Aegis attack."

"Ready girl? "While Tenshi was rubbing his hands together on Liya's neck, he questioned her.

After receiving a nod of approval, Tenshi leapt down to the ground with his odachi in his grasp and his wings spread out.

The impact of the landing caused a tremendous explosion that woke up almost everyone in the vicinity.

Already, Tenshi is able to detect the Tunnel Worms that are defending the entrance and escape after they eliminate the guards.

The little goblin town was roused by the sound of horns being blown, and two big hobgoblins emerged from the house, each carrying a massive sword.

Tenshi has no intention of communicating, so he sprints over to the first one and severes its head with a swiftness that no one else can match.

"ATTACK!" Tenshi issued an order, and shortly thereafter, soldiers emerged from his shadows, ready to start the slaughtering.

Tenshi and his Shadows could see hundreds of goblins coming toward them, but Tenshi wasn't the least bit frightened by sight. Even though he was only a frail lad, he was able to kill scores of them even without his weapons, despite the fact that poison was pouring through his veins.

Now that he has his new abilities and an army, he is convinced that he will be able to kill each and every one of them.

He shut his eyes and took a long breath. The sounds of swords clashing against one another and the cries of goblins being butchered by Aegis and his Shadows were quickly muffled.

His wings, which had been a bright silvery white, gradually began to darken, and tendril-like shadows began to develop about his torso, forming armor around him.

With a sweep of his hand, the tendrils began to attack all of the goblins, impaling them, slicking them, and slaughtering them to the fullest extent.

Even though Tenshi had his eyes closed, he was still able to perceive everything that was going on around him. His hand was moving in a way that seemed like he was conducting an orchestra.

Goblins who approached him were either mangled by his tentacles or crushed by Aegis, who was acting as a shield to protect him.

When Tenshi opened his eyes, there was not a sound to be heard. The grounds had been painted crimson and adorned with various body parts. Additionally, the odor was slowly beginning to permeate the air, making everyone smell rusty and coppery.

"Do you want anything, Liya?" Tenshi questioned, taking a quick glance at the dead corpses of the goblins.

When he saw that she was not interested in anything, his tenders started to grow, and they slowly found their way to the blood and corpses of the victims.

"Haaa~" Tenshi let out a contented sigh as the intoxicating and energizing sensation of mana coursed through his veins and provided him with strength. Because of his significant gain in mana, he now has the ability to resurrect an additional 6 Shadows, making the total 20.

"I wondered what it would feel like massacring everyone… Now I know, it's no big deal~"
