"What do you expect me to do with that information?" I asked, giving her a pointed look.
"We believe that Goddess Immana would not destroy the tree herself since that would surely anger our great God Drebann… But if it was her followers that did it… Then there would be nothing that our great God Drebann would be able to say about the situation either…" She explained.
I tilted my head, "Why would she not be able to say anything about it? Even if it was done by a proxy, as long as it can be proven that she was the one that orchestrated it, then God Drebann would do something about it, right?"
"The Gods don't interfere with us mortals. They allow us our freedom to do what we want even if it is going against their will. Such is the way of the Gods."
I honestly do not think that is the case at all because I already know the gods don't have such rules imposed on themselves.
