She lifted her face, her small face pale, her gaze vacant and void of emotion.
Seeing the expression on her face, Cidy suddenly hesitated again, unsure whether to approach.
"Cidy..." Just as she was hesitating, Fiona Schmidt spoke, turning her head with a blank expression, "What time is it now?"
"Now..." Cidy glanced at the wall clock, answering her as she frowned, "It's ten o'clock, just after nightfall."
Cidy sighed inwardly, clearly the clock was hanging on the wall, visible just by raising her head, yet she asked, indicating how absent-minded she was.
"Miss Fiona Schmidt..." She walked over, standing at the bedside, speaking cautiously, "Eat something, now that things are settled, open your heart, don't torment yourself like this, your health is important."
"Anyway, I won't starve to death." Fiona said indifferently, leaving Cidy speechless, indeed, in this world there were no diseases, no death.
