"How worse exactly?" Aurianna asked, raising an eyebrow, as her voice sounded as though she was teasing him.
"None of your concern," Peter snorted, folding his arms defensively.
"I doubt it's anything that surprising. Or are you shy?" Aurianna's lips curved into a smug grin.
"I'm not shy!!" Peter snapped, his face turning a deep shade of red.
"Alright then." Aurianna shrugged nonchalantly, the grin still tugging at her lips.
Peter exhaled through his nose, trying to calm down. "Also, I know you have a church. You probably want me to join you so you can see the future through my memories. But why me? There's Sacred Gray and the Saintess of Time, Vivian. Unless someone has a higher level than you, you can't read their memories." His voice was calm, but his eyes were sharp as he studied her.
"You're quite sharp, Peter," Aurianna chuckled, her eyes narrowing with amusement.
"Well, I do come from a family of smart people after all," he said proudly, puffing his chest slightly.
