Qin's father said casually, "At our last stop, we went for a hike, and on the way down, we bumped into a young couple who were hiking up. Your mom twisted her back, and it's been a few days now; it should be getting better soon."
Inside the room, Xiao Li was massaging Qin's mother's back and asked her where she was feeling uncomfortable.
"Mom, after you twisted your back, did you get any scans done?" Xiao Li asked.
"No, it's just a little strain, no need to go to the hospital, it's too much hassle," Qin's mother replied nonchalantly.
Xiao Li sighed, "Mom, we may not have hospitals all over the country, but in every major city you and Dad visit, there are our family hospitals. You can get a check-up without waiting in line, so what's the hassle in that?"
Qin's mother waved her hand, "You know me, the last place I want to go is a hospital."
