3rd person POV;
In the silent corner of the dark alley, a young teenager with black hair, black eyes and average face, laying in his pool of blood flowing from his back. Gazing at the dark sky with eyes of complicated emotion, pain, sadness, regret and lastly relief.
This is Sora, an average teenager we find anywhere, currently 19 years old, with ordinary talent and ordinary face, living his ordinary life in boredom. His only enjoyment is watching anime and reading manga and novels.
Walking back home from school, the sky is already dark after he took a detour to buy the latest volume of one piece manga. He is very excited and can't wait to get home to read the book. Luffy finally awaken his devil fruit in the battle against Kaido. He can't wait for Luffy to officially become an Emperor. Just imagining his future battle, specially against the marineford and admirals, is giving him a goosebumps.
This is suppose just another ordinary day for him. When he witness a teenage girl in branded dress getting drag in the dark alley by two man in mask. Sora was just about to ignore this since robbery is a common occurence in town and the victim will be set free after robbing them, It is also a remote area so there is no other people present in the area except him. He's not brave enough to do heroic things and take a risk just to save a stranger.
Sora was about to walk away when his gaze meet the girl's eyes. Sora can see the fear, helplessness and despair in the girl's eyes, begging for him to help her.
This put a conflict emotion to Sora, he feels that if he ignore this accident, he will live his life in shame and regret.
Feeling fear and uncertainty, Sora can't decide of what he should do. What can he do?, he's just an ordinary teenager, with ordinary body build and no fighting experience, though he sometimes copy a move from anime due to his weeb spirit, he can't perform those moves in a fight. it is impossible for him to save the girl even if he want to.
While Sora is feeling conflicted, he coincidentaly gaze over the front cover of the manga he bought, Luffy with his trademark smile, and remember what he said to the first episode of the anime,
" It's not about possible or impossible, I'm doing it because I want to."
Remembering his words, it fills Sora with bravery and decided to save the girl. Sora sneakily follow the two man.
Sora's POV;
Following the two man in the alley, I hide behind the dumpster while observing the two man who didn't notice me following them. The two wears a plain black shirt with jeans, having a white and black mask over their face. The one with white mask cover the mouth of the girl while the one with black mask has a knife in his hand, threatening the girl for his money.
" Okay little girl, quickly give us all your money." said the black-masked man.
Letting the girl talk, "Please don't hurt me, my money is in my wallet, take it all, just please don't hurt me" reply the girl in fear.
The white-mask man search for her wallet in the purse of the girl. After finding and noticing the small amount of money and some credit card in the wallet of the girl, the two is dissatisfied.
"Is this all your money?, Only a 10000 yen" said the black-masked man
Feeling their dissatisfaction, the girl tried to reason with them." You see, I usually use card when buying something, so I only carry money for transport and snacks. "
"What the **** with our luck, this is the 3rd time robbing some rich person that only have credit card and small amount money in hand" said the white-masked man.
The two man cursed their luck for robbing someone so rich that only carries a credit card.
I was also dumbfounded by their luck and also questioning in my mind 'what the hell is this rich girl doing in this remote area'.
Looking over the girl and seeing her beauty and curvy body, the white-masked man has an idea.
" Since you only have 10 thousand yen, we will just let you pay with your body, don't worry you will also enjoy it, Hehehe" said the white-masked man
" Good idea, since you don't have much money we will just enjoy you instead" said the black-masked man.
'What the hell is going on, a novice robbers turning into a rapist because they are bad at robbing?'.
"No! please not my body! I don't want to taint my body, I'm saving my first time for my future husband!" The girl cries as she ran away while the two man chase after her.
While I was thinking of a plan to save the girl from being rape, the girl fearfully run toward the dumspter's location where I was hiding.
The girl got caught and her got pinned by two man.
"Hehe, where are you going little girl, you still need to pay us with your body" said the white-masked man and start trying to undress the girl.
I saw that the distance between them and hiding place is less than 5 meter, I start finding for possible weapon near but only find some trash. I only have my bag and manga in my hand.
Seeing the manga in my hand, 'John Wick style it is then.' I said in my mind. I loosening my school uniform, untying my tie and holding the not so thick manga tightly, I tought of using this two as a weapon and my bag as a shield.
Getting ready for the sneak attack, I took a deep breath and run toward the two man pinning down the girl.
Running as fast as I can toward the two man, the white-masked man was the first to notice me since he's pinning down the girl while facing in my direction,
" Who the f---" he can't finish what he want to say as I kick him in the face making him stumbled backward.
'That should knock him out' , I thought as I know my kick would be strong since I has momentum from running towards them.
While the white-masked man fell backward, the black-masked notice me and hurriedly stand to fight me with his knife.
"Who the f*** are you!, are you trying to be a hero here!" shout the black-masked man.
'Just a guy who's hero for fun' I thought jokingly to calm myself.
Hearing no reply from me, the man charge at with his knife, trying to stab me. I put my bag in front of as a shield while I ready my two weapon in my hand, a manga book and a tie.
Seeing him getting close I use my tie as a whip, flicking it toward his eyes as distraction. Which stop him before backing away.
'Why is he backing away? did he get afraid of the tie skill?' A useless thought come to my mind while also taking a breath to calm myself.
The girl victim is sitting on the ground behind me, still shock and afraid from the event happening.
"Run away from here!, call for help!" I said, snapping here out of here thought and start running away.
'What cliche line, though I can finally focus and just stall for help to come' I said to myself.
Seeing the girl calling for help, the man with the knife gets aggressive and tried to slash and stab me.
Backing away little by little, I tried to fight with my tie by flicking it worad his eyes but I already know the tie won't hurt him.
I am already thinking of running away but I will expose my back for him to stab if I try to run now.
Noticing that he is hell-bent in stabbing me, I decided to take risk, I throw the manga in my hand toward him as distraction and tackle him with bag in my front as a shield to receive his stab.
'I hope the book in my bag is thick enough' I prayed in my mind. While my hands catch his shoulder and kneed him in the crotch with my streght while shouting in my mind ' Secret technique!: NUT CRAAASHEEEERR!!!'.
I watched as the man drop his knife and cover his crotch with his hands while falling in the ground shivering from pain I deliver.
"Aah, that was satisfying" I said to myself while taking a breath, as I unconciously held my breath during the fight.
"Damn!, my weeb spirit still acting even I am in danger!" While I was having my monologue, I didn't notice that the man I kicked earlier is standing up and pulls a hidden knife from his belt then he charge and stab me in the back. Either because of adrenaline or his hazy mind, he stab me instinctively as he saw what I did to his partner.
'Shit!!!, I let my guard down' I exclaim in my mind.
He pull the knife out and stab me in the back 2 more time before he snaps back in reality as I start to fell down as my strength leaving my body.
He started panicking as he feels the warm blood in his hands,
" What the hell did I do!!" he exclaim as he start to think and in desperation he run away to escape, leaving me behind in pool of blood. Behind him is his partner also running away, trying to catch up to him with shaky legs after seeing my situation.
' To think that I'm going to die like this, in a dark alley way, dying alone in silence.' I thought to myself as more blood pouring out my back. I muster up some strenght as I turn in my back and face the dark sky.
Watching the clear sky with only 1 star twinkling, I thought of my life until today. Living my life as ordinary person, with repeated action, waking up, eating, going to school, going home, reading novels, manga and watching anime, going to sleep and repeat.
'My life sucks, ordinary and boring, Atleast I won't die ordinarily and I also save someone, Hehehe ' I thougth to myself as I feel relief that I manage to do something I can be proud of. I start losing my consiousness as shroud of darkness covers my sight.
3rd person POV;
In the completely white room, a grey orb with golden spots can be seen floating around aimlessly until he comes in front of a golden silhouette of a man.
"Are you a ROB?!" Sora exclaim as he observe the golden silhouette.
The silhouette has an ammused look on his face as he watched the life of the soul in front of him.
