All he had in his mind was one voice—he! Hates her!
As a child, Hayes Edwards really disliked Grace Winter.
Hated that she always followed him, and hated others saying she was his sister.
"I don't have a sister! I'm the only child in my family!" Hayes didn't know how many times he had explained this to others, his eyebrows furrowed into a small wave.
All the kids in the neighborhood went to the same kindergarten, so everyone often saw Grace trailing behind Hayes, like a little tail.
Couldn't shake her off.
"You say she's not your sister, then why does she always follow you?" The one speaking was a little boy with a round belly, everyone called him Little Chubby.
Little Chubby was in the senior class, just like Hayes.
Grace was three years old, a junior class kid, but she had been at Rainbow Candy Kindergarten longer than Hayes.
Hayes was getting impatient with the questioning, "How do I know why she always follows me, anyway she's not my sister, and I don't like her!"
