Immortal Nimrod laughed again when he saw the Life Bane Wheel react, and he had already guessed Jacob's intention, but this time there was a trace of coldness.
"Are you trying to devour the Void?"
Despite the backlash, the resolve in Jacob's expression did not change as he sneered, "Trying?"
Suddenly, the ghostly purple section lit up.
"Spectral Despair!"
Jacob wasn't going to give up, since Life Devour couldn't swallow the Void directly; Spectral Despair would separate what the Void was hiding.
The next moment, the Wheel rotated, and the black section pulled, before the purple section filtered. The white section remained dormant, ready but unused.
Almost instantly, a thin layer of dark emptiness peeled away from the inside of the sphere, but this time not as energy, but as a trace like a remnant of interaction; the leftover proof that Nimrod's Void Law had interfered with the attacks.
The next moment, something astounding happened when the incomplete Colorless Arc flickered.
