Jake stood there speech lass trying to wrap his head around the matter at hand. Why were his wings special. But he didn't have enough time to think as the bell rang. Students started moving towards their classes. Jake was no out of place at all, almost everybody had their wings hidden. Jake finally reached his class and took a seat. He then looked at the back of the class. The class wasn't your normal class room. It was more like a collage class with rows of seats going up as you look behind. Jake then looked forward and noticed something. The teacher was already there, but he was quietly observing the students. Then his and the teachers eyes met and he could see a confused expression on the teacher's face, he then looked away. Jake then looked at each student in the class, their were both boys and girls in the class. Approximately twenty students. He spotted some big students and some other skinny students. Then the teacher spoke up.
"Good morning students, I am your Knowledge teacher Mr Smith" He said.
"Knowledge you may wander, well we Winged are special organisms." Mr Smith said
"I will be teaching you how to unlock your hidden powers and help you know more about yourself". Mr Smith said.
Jake was carefully listening. To be honest, he was still waiting to be woken underground by his phone back at his father's or his mansion now. But since that won't be happening anytime soon, Jake wanted to know about everything he could.
"For today's topic, we will be talking about the Fallen". Mr Smith said.
"You may wander what are the fallen, these are Wingeds who have lost their ways and their wings have a gray colour added to their wings." Mr Smith said.
"Their leaders on the other hand have pure black wings"
After he heard those words, Jake's heart skipped a beat. If what Mr Smith was saying is true, then he was a Fallen. Jake then started sweating and his heart was beating faster.
"But we also have us the Winged." Mr Smith said.
"And our ansestor's had pure white wings". Mr Smith said.
Jake was confused at this point and he didn't even know what he was anymore.
"Legend says that one in every new set of students have pure white wings." Mr Smith said.
"Do we have any white winged here?". Mr Smith asked
Then as if she was waiting for a special calling, a girl from the front row steped forward. She then released her wings. They were pure white almost shining. She was a blonde girl, slim figure, face of a goddess. She was truly beautiful and her wings complimented her beauty.
"That's Naomi Sherlock, her family is royalty". A boy by his side Jake did not notice until now said. Jake then looked at the boy. He was quite handsome, almost resembled Naomi.
"Hi am Ezekiel, Naomi's brother". He said with a smile.
Jake was shocked. When he first got there he didn't notice Ezekiel at all.
"Am sure you didn't notice me until now. I have that kind of effect on people. But my sister, she is the opposite. She attracts attention anywhere she goes."
"How are you not getting any attention, your a handsome guy". Jake said shocked.
Ezekiel was about to respond when Mr Smith raised his hand to silence everyone.
"Thank you Naomi for the flashy entrance." Mr Smith said.
"I was informed by the school authorities that this year we have two white winged Wingeds." Mr Smith said.
He then looked at Jake and said
"Would you come out and show us your wings"
