Jake woke up to the sound of alarms going off. He looked at the ceiling with half closed eyes.
'Where am i'. He thought.
Just then he could hear the sound of the alarms again. It was coming from a wrist band on his left wrist. Then, a holographic display apperd. In the picture he could see a female with two wings on her back.
"Welcome to Winged High, the place for training our people to harness their powers for the betterment of the society. I am the principal. I send this message to all new entries to the school.". She said
Jake was amazed by the technological advancements in this planet. Back on earth they could only find a holographic display in a large table since it consumed a lot of space due to the large parts composing it. But to be able to fit all that into this tiny band was an impressive feat. Once again his amazement was interrupted by the lady's voice.
"As a new student, you will be show you set of classes that you are to attend and classes start by 8 in the morning. Your class schedule will be sent to you after this message. That is all for now. Onece again welcome to Winged High we hope you have a great experience". The principal said. And the transmission went off.
Just immediately he received a notification. He saw an envelope with a red circle on top of it. The circle had a 1 in it. He taped it and it opened up to a tabular information column. There he saw that today was Miox for Monday. He also saw that he would be going to three indoor classes and one outdoor one before he has to return to his room. Jake then realized that he was still in bed and decided to get up. When he did, he couldn't find his wings.
'Are you kidding me, I finally get something and I lose it on my first day.' He thought
Then as he was thinking of his wings they just popped out of nowhere.
'ohh'. He thought
They look bigger but can't be compared to Lucifero, the elders, the principal not even the guy in the purple robe's wings. His wings where as long as a traveling box, yeah not that big but that was an improvement. When he first got them they were like his hands. Then Jake remembered Lucifero looking at his wings weirdly when they first met. But he thought nothing of it. Jake went to the wardrobe and brought out his uniform. It was a black cloth with grey patterns going along the sides. A pair of Snickers and five other pairs of uniform.
Jake left his room and was greeted by a large empty hallway. He looked at his band and saw he still had forty-five minutes before classes started. So, he decided to look around. He wasn't afraid of getting lost thanks to the map in his band. Even though the school was huge. The school was divided into three parts. One for the beginners (First years) , Second years and lastly the Third years. He wasn't allowed in the second and third year buildings. So he went to the field, it was huge, next he went to the rooftop, from there he could see the whole school. The school was fenced in a triangular from. There was a wall behind every building. He then looked at his band only five minutes remaining before classes start, he decided go back down for his class this time he saw people in the hallway. And at that moment Jake realised something, all the Winged had only one colour on their wings but he had one wing black and the other white.
