"Kya!" - Kaori let out a sharp cry of terror when she saw the creature, which made the blonde boy frown slightly, after all, he hadn't expected his companion's reaction to be so strong.
"Calm down, Kaori," Yue said as she frowned, though Cloud could tell how the vampire girl's hands were shaking.
Tio simply remained silent while Shizuku and Remia, both of them, were wearing pale faces.
"Calm down, that thing only shows itself in the most terrifying way possible to those who see it," Cloud said seriously.
[I'm surprised you understood my ability so quickly, irregular] - said the strange crimson slime before it started laughing madly - [But what makes you think my true form isn't much more terrifying than you think it is?]
"Because I can see your true appearance" - Cloud replied neutrally - "A fucking brain with hundreds of eyes surrounded by a red tentacled slime."
The girls felt disgust when they heard the blond's words, though it made them visualise the monster in greater detail.
The red slime was silent before letting out a roar of fury as he sensed how his challengers seemed to have lost their fear for him - [You bastard!]
Cloud didn't respond, he simply watched as the creature lunged at their group, surely intending to ensnare them with its foul tentacles. Without a second thought, he gave a firm stomp against the ice platform, which was destroyed with the greatest of ease.
The girls were surprised, but decided to let the blond do his job because they trusted him.
The tentacles passed over the group as they landed on their feet on the ground, as they were not that far away from it.
"Did it try to attack us?" - Yue asked as she frowned as she landed gracefully. She slowly looked up, and she swore she could notice a strange red thing above them, so she concentrated her mana in her eyes to see if she could visualize it better.
"Yue, I want you to use your magic so I can connect my mental image with the rest of them," Cloud said seriously.
Yue was silent for a few seconds before nodding and following the blond's instructions.
The girls were shocked and disgusted to see the true appearance of the monster, who quickly lost the last illusory barrier that had prevented their opponents' perception.

"How do you know about my ability!" exclaimed the slime in surprise.
"You don't need to know," Cloud replied neutrally, only to notice how nothing had changed.
"Are you sure it's an illusion, Cloud?" - Yue asked with a frown.
"There's nothing to be gained by lying to them," Cloud replied with annoyance.
"Girls, you need to calm down," said Lyutillis, only to widen her eyes in surprise as she noticed how one of the creature's tentacles wrapped around Kaori's body, who was concentrating on the two blondes' discussion - "Kaori-san!"
"How dare you ignore me when we are in the middle of a battle!" roared the creature as it roared with laughter, only to have its tentacles tear the silver-haired girl's body apart after a few seconds.
Before they knew it, they had already lost one of their companions.
"Kaori!" - Cloud roared in fury as her body was surrounded by a dark miasma.

"Drink my blood, you'll be fine, this isn't the first time someone has pierced your stomach" - Lyutillis said with concern.
Meiru smiled slightly before opening her eyes in terror, all because she saw how the liquid from the tentacle that had melted, had solidified again, creating a crimson stake that pierced the elf princess's body in half - "Lyu-chan!"
[I can control every fragment of my body at will, even the ones you cut] - the monster continued to laugh as it watched with its multiple eyes as Lyutillis' visors spilled out all over the place in a grotesque bloody spectacle.
Shizuku could contain herself no longer, she let out a high-pitched scream of terror.
