"That's bad..." - Shea said in terror, after all, ancient magics were one of the biggest aces they had, Cloud not being able to access them complicated things a lot, more so when the situation was about to get worse.

The ground began to shake, and hundreds of vines came out of it, she was using much of her mana as a catalyst so that she could create a green area in the middle of this frozen wasteland, after all, it was in this kind of place that she could show her full potential as a daughter of nature.
Meiru was also at work, she was using her [Restoration] magic to be able to return this area to how it was in the beginning, in other words, a lush field. She wasn't sure when or how it happened, but this whole region was a jungle that was slowly turning into a frozen wasteland, and at the same time this made everything easier for her.
The sea fighter and the elf princess were best friends, and could read each other like a book for all the time they had fought together, which is why their coordination was extremely high. With just a glance and a few words, the two had devised a plan stable enough to be able to support their companions.
Lyutillis didn't stop even though her "job" was done, she used even more mana in order to activate her [Evolution] magic to the limit, creating hundreds of living plant entities. Wood Golems, Forest Giants, and even titanic humanoid-shaped trees, the Ancient Ents. Lyutillis was proving why she had been given the title of the [Forest Monarch], she could not only control vegetation at will, but she could also create hundreds or thousands of loyal subjects to her cause at the snap of her fingers, she was an army of one.
As for Meiru, she was the best companion Lyutillis could have, and this was not only due to the fact that she could create a zone for the elven princess to show her power, but also because of her magic, [Restoration], which directly intervened with the target's time, in other words, Meiru could use her magic to make Lyutillis' forest army practically immortal.
Lyutillis could use her forest magic to regenerate her soldiers to give Meiru enough time to use her magic, creating an infinite cycle that would continue until the two women ran out of mana, though this was easier said than done, as absolute masters of their ancient magics, they had pushed their control to the limit, making the consumption of mana when using their magics almost nil, although it was not all good, because this restricted the use and acquisition of other magics, which is why their repertoire of abilities was so reduced. Lyutillis could only use nature magic and her ancient magic, while Meiru used Water magic and her ancient magic, not to mention her control over blood thanks to her vampirism.
The ground continued to shake, to the point that Remia almost fell down when she lost her balance, though Cloud caught her before this happened.
"Thank you, Cloud" - Remia said with a small smile.
"You don't have to thank me" - Cloud replied as he smiled back before shaking his head. Making sure that the light blue-haired woman wouldn't fall again, he focused his attention on the ground, the place where he felt Vandre Schnee's draconic presence.
"Cloud... Is there any way you can keep the seal?" - Kaori asked as she looked closely at the blond.
Cloud frowned slightly because he had no idea how to answer this question, after all, he wasn't an expert in seals, and his control over mana was instinctive thanks to the help of the [System] - "I'm sorry, but I don't know.... What do you guys think, Tio, Yue?"

Kaori also reacted quickly, she took Shizuku in her arms and flew to the blond, an action that the others also repeated.
Lyutillis used her mana to create a net to catch her forest soldiers, after all, she didn't want them to die before the battle started.
"Thanks for the ride, Meiru-chan" - Lyutillis said after Meiru left her beside the blonde dragon.
Meiru simply nodded as she looked down into the hole that had formed, noticing a huge empty room made entirely of ice - "I can feel Van-kun's presence coming from that place, so it's possible that's the place where Ehit sealed it."
Cloud looked down as well, and felt a sharp headache that lasted for a few seconds, though this made him thankful for his new protection against mental attacks - ". . ."
The group heard a huge laugh filled with fear, desolation and madness, it was as if the owner of the laugh didn't know what to feel in this situation, or as if he was trapped in a shifting illusion that made him experience hundreds of emotions in a matter of insurance.
Lyutillis felt a sharp pain in her heart because this voice was her friend's, and what made her feel much worse, was that it seemed that Vandre had given up on himself.
"Lyu-chan" - Meiru said with a frown.
"I know," Lyutillis replied as she nodded in her friend's direction.
Cloud took a long breath before looking in the direction where to one of the exits of the room that were still intact, a place where the rune to activate the teleportation seal was possibly located.
"What are you thinking, Cloud?" - Yue asked with a frown.
"Shea, I want you to do me a favour," Cloud said seriously.
Shea seemed to understand what was going through his beloved's mind, not because he was a prodigy or because of his ability to see the future, but because of his instinct - "Cloud..."
"I want you to take Remia to the seal and both of you get out of here, we need someone to protect Dienleed-san and Belta-san" - Cloud said, ignoring the look on the rabbit girl's face, who seemed to be struggling at the thought of [escape].
"Ok" - sighed Shea as she nodded - "But I want them to escape if they see things getting out of hand."
"It's obvious, our lives are much more important than the safety of the world" - Cloud said honestly, not because he was someone cold, but because to him, the people next to him, were much more important than the lives of people he didn't even know.
Lyutillis and Meiru frowned slightly as this contrasted with their self-sacrificing attitude, though that did not mean they did not understand the blond young man's line of thinking. From one perspective, they too had fought for their loved ones, though from the beginning their vision was to save the world from Ehit's cruel hands.
Yes, this was altruistic on their part, but at the same time they, the survivors, felt that it was because of this moral sense that they lost everything, if they had been more selfish with some of their decisions, maybe things would have changed, which is why even though they felt a little uncomfortable with the blond's words, they accepted them without a problem.
