After making sure they left nothing behind, Cloud's group continued their journey through the labyrinth.
"By the way, what do you think of our idea?" - Tio asked as she folded her arms .
"You mean [Overlimit]?" - Cloud asked as he raised an eyebrow - "Sounds like a good plan, although I have to warn you that it's not a good idea to put more pressure on your bodies."
[Overlimit], is a much more powerful version of [Limit Break], which not only nullified the limit of what was mortally possible, but doubled their abilities for 10 minutes, though this effect could extend for much longer if the body is strong enough.
"We know, that's why the maximum time we use [Overlimit] is 5 minutes" - Tio replied seriously - "With that, we'll be able to keep fighting even with the pain our bodies hurt."
Cloud nodded with a small smile on his lips, as the group continued to move forward.

"Glad to see we didn't get separated this time" - Cloud said as he nodded seeing how they were all together after passing through the curtain of light.
"Look, a shrine!" - Remia exclaimed excitedly.
The group quickly looked towards the icy shrine, Cloud felt a strange sense of nostalgia, not because he had been here before, but because it reminded him of a certain setting from one of his favourite games, [Digimon World].
"It's a beautiful lake, the crystal clear water contrasting with the huge pillars of ice, makes the scenery around the icy shrine look that much more beautiful..." - Kaori said with a small smile - "I wish I had a camera."
The girls gave her a blank look before shaking their heads.
"We'd better get inside the shrine" - Cloud said as the girls nodded.
The group walked quietly towards the shrine and opened the door, only for a cold draft of wind to pass through them.
"Brr" - Shea shivered slightly from the cold.
[Welcome to my home, challengers!]
"!" - the girls quickly snapped to attention, while Cloud simply walked into the sanctuary, ignoring the girls' annoyed looks.
"Relax, that voice isn't from that monster, I can sense it from the mana frequency" - Cloud replied honestly.
Yue nodded when she heard this.
[As that irregular said, I am not the enemy].
"What he says is true, though he's not our ally either" - Meiru said as she walked out of a room, which surprised the group.
"Meiru-san? Lyutillis-san? What are you doing here?" - Shea asked in surprise, after all, she thought they were protecting Belta and Shea's uncle.
"We came in because we had something to do" - answered Meiru honestly - "We also tried to talk to Vandre, but it seems he doesn't want to participate in our battle".
Cloud frowned slightly before nodding - "I understand".
"By the way, we got a message from the Haulia clan" - Lyutillis said seriously.
"My family?" - Shea asked in surprise, though her expression changed to one of seriousness because if his clan contacted them, it was because something dangerous was about to happen.

"!" - Kaori and Shizuku's eyes widened in surprise at this news, though at the same time she didn't understand why he would do something like that.

"Is it about the monster sealed under the labyrinth?" - Cloud asked as he frowned.
"Monster?" - Meiru and Lyutillis repeated before looking at the pedestal inside the shrine.

Cloud frowned before walking towards the pedestal where the sphere containing the magic of [Metamorphosis] stood.
"Why!" - Lyutillis exclaimed as she bit her lip, she wasn't an idiot, she understood that Vandre had done something, it was even possible that he was doing it the entire time they were in this room.
"Isn't it obvious? The monster has managed to corrupt Vandre Schnee" - Yue replied with a frown - "It's possible that this thing had started from the moment he was sealed in this place".
Vandre continued to laugh madly as he ignored the conversation of the challengers and his former comrades.
The sanctuary was shaking harder and harder, to the point where the walls began to crack.
"Get the magic!" - Meiru exclaimed as she looked at the challengers - "It might be useful for our current situation!"
Cloud nodded as he placed the sphere in the centre of the group, who quickly touched it and felt a huge amount of information.

Cloud nodded as he quickly analysed the information, only to be surprised at how dangerous his new ability was. He thought that this ability was only useful to be able to summon and recreate monsters, but after reading the description, he understood that he was wrong, because the most important function of this magic was to intervene directly with the biological structure of any living being, in other words, he could modify any living thing he wanted, from something as stupid as growing or shrinking his breasts, to changing the biological structure of a human to transform it into a completely different race.
Just the thought of the endless possibilities made him feel a huge smile appear on his face.
