"I don't hear any voices in my head anymore" - said Yue as she started to think - "That's why I want to assume that we've reached another safe zone, or is it possible that the two forces interfering with our consciousness are fighting each other..."
"I think it's the first option" - Cloud replied as he shook his head, though inside he was happy that he finally managed to assimilate all the mana inside him, to the point that his ice resistance had evolved to the ability to absorb ice attacks in general.
[Ice Absorption: 50%]
[+5,000 Mana]
Cloud nodded at these two small pop-ups as he felt his body recover slightly - "How are you feeling?"
"We had to use [Limit Breaker] in order to take out the monsters guarding this corridor..." - Shizuku replied sarcastically - "I'm exhausted, and even Kaori's magic can't help me."
"I'm sorry," said Kaori ruefully.
"Oh, it's not your fault, I'm just annoyed with myself, if I were stronger, I could have ended the battle much earlier, but that wasn't the case" - replied Shizuku as she let out a sigh - "I guess I'm going to have to increase the intensity of my training even more."
"I think you're doing more than enough, Shizuku" - Cloud said seriously - "What you need now is not harder training, but rather a better weapon and to thoroughly absorb all the experience you've accumulated so far."
Shizuku was silent for a few seconds before nodding - "Ok, I understand, thank you."
Cloud nodded as he saw how the girl seemed to have calmed down - "I want you to stay alert, I'm going to create a new weapon for Shizuku"
"But doesn't that take a few minutes?" - Kaori asked in surprise.
"Normally, that's the case, but I want to create something that can withstand her new power, and for that, I'm going to have to concentrate a bit while I fuse materials" - Cloud answered honestly - "Also, I have to think carefully about what skills are the most useful for the sword to be perfect for her."
"Basically, you're going to think about Shizuku-chan one hundred percent while we wait" - Kaori said with slight jealousy.
"I don't know how you came to that conclusion, but that's a very strange way of looking at it" - Cloud replied while nodding, because even though those words were stupid, they weren't wrong.
Shizuku blushed as she wiggled her body in embarrassment, after all, this was the first time someone was paying so much attention to her, and even though it wasn't technically romantic, she could feel her heart pounding.
Yue simply shook her head as Tio and Shea looked at each other.
Remia smiled slightly and Kaori clicked her tongue as they set up a small camp so they could get some rest.
The girls gathered in front of a campfire and began to talk amongst themselves.
"What do you think of the current situation?" - Tio asked seriously.
"I don't know, but something tells me that this maze is yet to give us its final surprise," said Kaori with a frown.
The other girls fell silent at these words as they looked at each other.
"By the way, there's something I'd like to talk to you about," said Yue with a slightly self-conscious expression, "It's something of utmost importance."
The other girls gave her a look, waiting for her to say what was on her mind.
"After thinking about our current situation, I came to the conclusion that we need to solve certain problems that are bothering us" - Yue continued seriously.
"Problems?" - Tio repeated as she frowned and began to analyse the situation a little more, only to find that outside of the personal problems they had with each other, she hadn't said [problem] - "What do you mean?"
"It's simple, we need a way to be able to get our mana back" - Yue said seriously as she looked around - "And when I say our, I mean everyone's, including mine, after all, we can't rely on me sucking Cloud's blood every time I use a burst of high-level magics."
"You have a point..." - muttered Tio as she nodded at these words, more so when it was obvious that she hadn't thought of this - "And what is your proposal?"
"Alchemy" - Yue replied honestly.
"Interesting, though we obviously can't do it" - Tio replied as she clicked her tongue.
"Huh? Why do you say that?" - Kaori asked in surprise.
"Because alchemy is a job, and we already have one," Yue replied with a frown, "In fact, I don't think any of you can, with the exception of..."
Yue and Tio looked at Remia, who was surprised by these words.
"Yue-san is a [Blood Mage]." - Tio said as she watched the vampire girl nod - "I am a [Draconic Berseker]. Kaori-san is a [Apostle of Light (Valkyrie)], Shizuku-san is a [Bushido], Lyutillis-dono is a [Nature Mage], Meiru-dono is a [Sea Warrior (Pirate)], finally, Remia-san... she doesn't have a pre-set job."
Remia ducked her gaze in shame because this was true, she was a simple civilian who had no clear job despite her enormous magical power, though this was achieved through training, not by a trade, in other words, she was still a [Simple Housewife].
"No need to be ashamed, Remia-san, it shows you're a lot stronger than you think, I mean, not just anyone could say they overcame a maze without having the advantage of a job" - said Tio while comforting the Dagon woman - "That aside, that leaves us with the excellent opportunity for you to become an alchemist."
"But will that work?" - Remia asked with a frown - "I don't know if I have the talent to do alchemy."
"Well, they say that alchemy is basically cooking a gourmet soup" - replied Yue as she shrugged - "Preparing the ingredients well, putting them in a specific order so that their medicinal properties don't clash with each other, and 'cooking' them for the right amount of time"
Remia was still a bit sceptical, though she slowly nodded - "Ok, I'll give it a try, though I don't think it will work."
"Have more confidence in yourself, alchemy only needs two things, knowledge and enough mana control to be able to perform the mixing of ingredients" - Tio added while frowning - "Knowledge you can acquire by reading books and studying from a trained alchemist, while control over mana, you already possess"
"Really?" - Remia asked excitedly.
"I have nothing to gain by lying to you, in fact, I believe that in a week at most you will have enough experience to be able to create potions" - said Tio honestly - "That's why I want you to believe in yourself".
"OK!" - Remia nodded as she clenched her fist.
The girls smiled slightly, until they watched as Cloud walked towards the campfire with a small smile on his lips and a katana in his hands.
"Are you done?" - Shizuku asked excitedly as she stood up and ran over to the blond.
"Of course, and let me tell you, this is one of my best jobs" - Cloud answered honestly as he handed the Japanese sword to the black haired girl.
Shizuku smiled happily as she touched the icy edge of her new weapon.

Shizuku hugged Cloud with all her might as she squealed with excitement, because the sword was not only beautiful, but it was also a weapon of mass destruction that grew each time she increased its power, after all, the attack of this sword was percentage, which meant that the more base damage she had, the more powerful her new toy would be.
"I see you liked it" - Cloud said as he nodded - "That's good to know".
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" - She exclaimed as she gave her beloved a quick flurry of kisses, only to be surprised at her actions.
The others watched this with amusement as Shea let out a laugh.
Shizuku broke away from the blond and looked down, though they could all see that her face was as red as an apple.
Cloud shook his head, though a small smile tightened over his lips.
"Do you think you can upgrade my hammer?" - Shea asked curiously.
Cloud nodded before looking around.
Tio simply shrugged because thanks to her job, she was more prone to using her fists or simple magical attacks, at most, she used firearms when she was exhausted or simply bored.
