Tang Wan ultimately did not get to share a meal with Zhou Zhongqing. When she returned home, Jiang Jinsang was hunched over, still working on his puzzle, a completely pure white one without a single patterned clue, a thousand pieces, each unique.
She rarely played puzzles, at first finding them fresh and interesting, but after failing to find a single correct piece, she lost her sense of achievement, and naturally, it became boring.
Jiang Jinsang, on the other hand, enjoyed it immensely and quickly assembled over half of it.
"Back already? How's Taotao?"
"She's fine, eldest brother and Teacher Shen told me to come back first." Tang Wan had intended to stay and help, but they said it was unnecessary.
"I heard she cracked her head?"
"Just a little skin broken, not too serious. Uncle Zhou said there won't be a scar." Tang Wan sat down beside him, idly fiddling with the puzzle pieces on the table, "Fourth brother went to E country."
