The academy was relatively quiet as Gabriel and Yuki walked in relative silence taking in the sites of Green River Mountain Academy as they headed towards the training grounds with Principal Nemaria who was leading the way.
As they drew closer to the training grounds the sound of a woman's booming voice could be heard coming from within the confines of the grounds. The volume of the booming yet feminine voice of the woman that rang out through the air didn't change no matter how close Gabriel got to the training grounds.
The training grounds were built to look like a coliseum with a dome over the top of it, although the coliseum itself was circular in shape at it's centre was an pentagon shaped platform which was made out of pure white stone. Each corner of the platform had a column that was around 10 foot tall and was adorned with the image of different ancient Soul Beast's.
When Gabriel, Yuki and Principal Nemaria stepped foot inside the training grounds they could see around 150 young men and woman all around the same age as Gabriel standing in the centre as a scantily clad woman was stood on a podium addressing them.
This beguiling woman was the one responsible for the voice they had been hearing all this while she had long silky black hair that was braided down her back stopping just above her waist.
She was dressed in a skin tight white tank top that framed her well endowed chest and black shorts that hugged her shapely thighs showing off her naturally sultry and seductively flawless snow white skin.
Even with the cold and stern look on her petite face she was a rare beauty that made all the young men captivated and the young women jealous of this beauty that stood before them.
Unlike the other's Gabriel wasn't affected by her charms this was due to his constant exposure to his mother's and older sister's unparalleled beauty that caused him to be unaffected by the woman's staggering beauty.
It wasn't that that he found her unattractive it was just that Gabriel's perception of beauty was that much higher than that of everyone else.
The gaze of the woman that was stood on the podium moved from the student's in front of her and went towards Gabriel and Principal Nemaria as she noticed there arrival.
When she looked over Principal Nemaria gave her a nod of his head before she began speaking once again "We will begin the awakening ceremony shortly but before that we teacher's have managed to arrange something a little different this year that will hopefully help you in the future" as the woman said this the student's began to murmur amongst themselves.
The woman raised her hands and the student's immediately quieted down "As some of you should know this year we have a very special student will be joining us and thanks to our principal persuading him you will have the opportunity see something that you would only normally get to see during your first year of college" the woman said her gaze not leaving Gabriel or Principal Nemaria causing the student's murmuring to start once again.
The murmurs continued until a few of the student's noticed where the woman's gaze was focused and slowly but surely the murmurs quietened down as more and more of the student's turned to look at Gabriel and Principal Nemaria. However most of the gazes were focused on Gabriel them wondering just who he was.
Of course there were people who had vaguely recognised Gabriel but that was because their families had close ties with his and even with this they had only seen him from a far.
"Isn't that the crippled boy from the Velian's who awakened as a Beastmaster a few year's ago?" a tall boy with a shaved head who was around 190 cm tall said as he pointed in Gabriel's direction.
"Yeah I think it is what was his name again?" a girl with long flowing blue hair said as she titled her head as she furrowed her brows trying to remember Gabriel's name.
"Who cares what his name is would you two kindly shut up the Principal is about to speak and I don't want to miss anything because of you two idiot's blabbering on" a young bespectacled boy with head full of short auburn hair said with a cold tone causing the other two to immidiatley stop talking.
There were two other student's one who was male that had golden blonde hair and the other female with verdant green hair who had remained silent during their friend's talking and were just watching Gabriel as he followed after the Principal.
Principal Nemaria started walking forward leaving Gabriel standing where they stood for a few seconds before he followed after him. The student's gaze never left Gabriel as he made his way up to the podium where Principal Nemaria and the woman was stood talking to each other.
Gabriel heard the woman ask Principal Nemaria a question as he approached them "So did you need to use the contract that we prepared or did he agree without it?" the woman and Principal Nemaria had their back's to Gabriel so they couldn't see him as he arrived.
Principal Nemaria shook his head before he answered her question "Unfortunately we did it's a good thing that you convinced me and the other teacher's to draw one up Willa otherwise we would have been in quite a pickle" Principal Nemaria said as he and the woman Willa looked at Gabriel feeling his eye's watching them.
Willa walked over to where Gabriel stood "Well you must be Gabriel Velian the early awakener who we've heard so much about but they never told me just how handsome you are if you were a few year's older then I'd have eaten you up" Willa said with a predatory look in her eye's.
Gabriel stepped back a few steps and raised his hands "Sorry but I'm not interested" Gabriel said seriously causing both Willa and Principal Nemaria to burst out laughing at his reaction.
HAHAHAHAHA
Seeing them both laughing Gabriel realised that Willa wasn't being serious in the proposition she made and was only teasing him causing him to flush red due to the embarrassment he felt.
Principal Nemaria managed to collect himself after a few more minute's of laughter "Looks like your famed charms don't work on everyone Willa" Principal Nemaria said with a wide smile on his face.
Willa who had an equally wide smile on her face wrapped Gabriel in a hug "I can't believe he really thought I was being serious he's so cute it almost makes me want to take him for myself" Willa said as she pulled away while pinching Gabriel's left cheek.
All this while the 150 student's had been intently watching Gabriel as he interacted with Willa and Principal Nemaria still wondering who he was.
When Principal Nemaria turned and saw all the curious and inquisitive gazes of the other student's he decided to introduce Gabriel "As some of you may have guessed this young man beside me is the early awakener that will be joining us this year and he has agreed to show you the correct way to hatch a Soul Beast egg" Principal Nemaria said as the three of them stood under the gazes of the student's.
Principal Nemaria brought out a item that everyone could easily recognise a Soul Beast egg before he handed it to Gabriel. From the markings, the size and the colour on the Soul Beast eggs shell you could tell it's Grade and Typing.
For instance from the size of the 1 foot wide egg you could tell that the Soul Beast inside was of the Unique Grade and from the colour of the icy blue markings on it's pale green shell you could tell that it was a Dual type Soul Beast mainly the Ice and Wind type.
Gabriel looked at the Soul Beast egg he was handed curious as to what Soul Beast was inside "Now if you'd please set the Soul Beast egg down on the specially prepared podium you can start the hatching process when you're ready" Principal Nemaria said bringing Gabriel's attention away from the Soul Beast egg.
Gabriel walked until he stood in front of the podium and set the Soul Beast egg down and gave it one last look over before he placed his hand onto the Soul Beast egg.
Since his partial awakening didn't allow for him to draw his soulpower outside of his body he could still move it within it.
Under everyone's stares Gabriel begin the process of injecting his soulpower into the Soul Beast Egg.
