To think the Ancient One is still alive while Strange is Sorcerer Supreme.

Looks like her death isn't a canon event after all.

'But if that's the case, then what else is drastically different from the films?' I thought.

But I didn't really have time to focus on the question before Tyrone spoke up.

"Who are you?" He asked the Ancient One.

When he did she simply smiled softly. "Once I held the same position as Dr. Strange. I was the leader of the world's mystical warriors. But my era in that regard has passed. Now I am simply a teacher and guide for the most part. For those who seek to learn and those who do not even know they need to." She replied.

"Nice one. Maybe you should start your own fortune cookie company." I joked.

Leading almost everyone in the room to stare at me with a deadpan expression on their face.

"Oh, tough crowd." I mused. "But that's alright. I've got many more jokes where that came from, and I'm sure one of them is guaranteed to make you downers burst at the seams with laughter."

"Is he always like this?" Tandy asked Gwen.

"Unfortunately, yes." She replied.

"Oh come on Ghost-Spider, you know you love me." I said. Moving closer and rubbing our cheeks together.

*Ahem!*

Strange cleared his throat. "Thank you for the joke Spider-Man, but I think it's best we get back to the main topics at hand."

"Okay." I replied. Pulling myself away from Gwen. "Then the show is yours Mr. Strange."

"I prefer doctor actually, but thank you Spider-Man." He spoke. "Now then the moment you'll all been waiting for, answers." Strange said.

He then gave us a cliff notes version of the history and purpose of the Masters of the Mystic Arts.

None of us speaking a word until Strange stopped.

"Okay. So basically what you're saying is you guys protect the world from demons, vampire, werewolves, and crazy wizards?" Tandy asked.

"Simply put, yes." Clea spoke. "But only those with ill intentions. Since not all beings belonging to the categories of creatures you just listed young Tandy are evil in a sense. Like me for example."

"Wait, you're saying your not human?" Tyrone asked.

"Technically I'm half human." Clea admitted. "Though my people evolved in a dimension entirely different than this one." She revealed.

"Incredible." Gwen mused. "To think there are humanoid species that have evolved in other dimensions." She said.

Gwen having truly no idea.

But in the coming years she most definitely will.

"Tell me, how similar are your people's physiologies to our own? Do you age at the same rate? What about-"

"-Ghost-Spider love, dial it back a bit please." I spoke.

"Right. Sorry. It's just, this is amazing." Gwen said once more.

"Trust me Ghost-Spider, I completely understand where you're coming from." Stephen admitted. "Before I became an expert in magic I was a doctor and surgeon, so when I first met Clea I too had a burning curiousity in regards to her and her people."

"One that he has been able to study up close and personal several times since we met I might add." Clea spoke. A smirk on her face.

"So, you're saying the doctor gives you very "thorough" checkups on the regular?" I asked. Grinning under my mask.

"Yes. He does." Clea admitted.

"Okay, once again we're getting off topic." Strange spoke.

A slight blush on his face.

"Ah, what's wrong doc, don't like your lady embarrassing you?"

"As much as I to am enjoying seeing my successors embarrassment Strange is right." The Ancient One spoke up. "We still have important matters to discuss. Namely the abilities of Mr. Johnson and Ms. Bowen." She said.

When the Ancient One both Tandy and Tyrone turned their gazes in her direction.

"You see as you all just learned from Dr. Strange explanation we Masters of the Mystic Arts battle both magical and extra dimensional threats. And many dimensions are linked to our own. Leading some people in our dimensions to become living conduits, able to channel the powers of those other dimensions. Which are what Ms. Bowen and Mr. Johnson are. Living conduits tied to two of the oldest known dimensions in existence. The light force and the dark force." The Ancient One explained.

"So, you're saying Tandy and I are what, some living batteries?" Tyrone asked.

"More like capacitors. Since you store and release the energies from your respective dimensions." I spoke.

"An appt description Spider-Man." The Ancient One said.

"Okay. But what does all of this mean?" Tandy asked.

"It means you two have the potential to be immensely powerful sorcerers." Wong spoke up for the first time.

"But at the same time your abilities aslo the make the two of you beacons for certain creatures and brings that would love nothing more than to use you both to access the energies of your connected dimensions." Clea explained.

"Those are the few of the reasons I sought you two out. Not only so we Masters could protect you, but also train you to combat such threats on your own." Stephen explained.

"If you're willing to lean that is." The Ancient One added.

Leading Tandy and Tyrone to share a look before returning their gazes to Strange and the others.

"Hey, not trying to ruin the mood or anything but I'm curious how you two gained your powers in the first place? Mind explaining?" I asked.

"Sure." Tyrone replied.

"Yeah, no problem." Tandy added.

The two then told us the the story of how they were kidnapped by the Maggia and injected with a potential new street drug known as D-Lite.

Letting me know that although Tyrone and Tandy resemble their counterparts from the MCU their origins in this reality are more in line with their comic counterparts.

"I see. Thank you." I told them, once they finished their explanation. "On that note it means those men you killed who were attacking you both when we met were part of the Maggia, correct?"

"Yeah. They've been chasing us ever since we escaped." Tyrone spoke.

"Then that's all the more reason you two should stay and train with the Masters of the Mystic Arts." Gwen spoke up.

Me nodding in agreement.

"Ghost-Spider is correct. Especially since I get the feeling you two don't want to hurt anyone that doesn't deserve it and if you go out on your own again, with the Maggia after you, that is more very likely to happen."

"Well, when you put it like that..." Tyrone trailed off.

"Looks like we're going to train to become wizards." Tandy spoke.

"Sorcerers." Wong emphasized. "Not wizards. For to those of us who practice the mystic arts that term doesn't sit right."

"Duly noted, wizard Wong." I spoke.

Earning me a glare from Wong and a chuckle from Tandy, Tyrone, and Gwen.

Yep, I still got it.

"Wong, if you could please escort our newest disciples to some living quarters, I would like to have a chat with the Spider-Totems alone." The Ancient One said.

"Of course." Wong replied. He then looked to Tandy and Tyrone. "Follow me?" He asked.

Wong then began walking, Tandy and Tyrone following right behind him.

Strange and Clea also took their leave.

So soon it was just me, Gwen, and the Ancient One alone in the voyuer.

"Alright, so what did you want to discuss with the two of us?" I asked.

"A few things, but first Madam Web told me to pass along her regards." The Ancient One spoke.

Her words leading me to one to want punch Madam Web in the face at least once.

Since like Lord Kazuma and Touma Kamijo my hands are rated E for everyone.

Especially that troll of an old woman.
