Chapter 121 - Skaar Line(One Piece/Marvel)-1

"Gather up all of the crew, it's time to ship the Bink's Brew." How long had it been?

"Wave goodbye, but don't you cry, our memories remain." How long had it been since he was denied of what he was due and sent to this world?

"Our days are but a passing dream, everlasting though they seem." A world that seemed to be made entirely out of seas and islands.

"Beneath the moon we'll meet again, the wind's our lullaby." He could still see his last moments on Earth whenever he closed his eyes.

"Gather up all of the crew, it's time to ship the Bank's Brew." The empty apologies of Richards and Danvers as they strapped him to that machine.

"Sing a song, and play along for all the oceans wide." The way all those so called heroes had been so willing to let go of those… those murderers!

"After all is said and done, you'll end up a skeleton." …his father's funeral and his rage at those puny humans who tried to desecrate his father's grave.

"So spread your tales from dawn 'til dusk upon these foamy seas." Skaar; the Killer of Killers, the fake savior, the Sakaarson, the Destroyer, the Worldbreaker… the sonofHulk remembered those moments very vividly.

In hindsight; attacking the Avengers in the middle of their so called Civil War, right after getting his gamma powers back, had not been the brightest choice in Skaar's life. Sure; his anger and Old Power had made him into an adversary that most, if not any, of the Avengers could face by themselves. But against all of them? It did not matter how glorious the battle was, or how many of the bastards he had laid down on their backs, it had been only a matter of time before Skaar had been overwhelmed and defeated.

What happened after they had him in custody was something of a blur but there was one conversation that Skaar remembered perfectly.

Those damn cowards had decided that the Hulk in Inhuman's prophecy, their excuse to betray Saar's father and have him murdered, had not been his father but Skaar. It likely had made some amount of sense to those traitors, it was a very convenient excuse for them to get rid of him. Just like they would like to get rid of anyone with true power.

Except with Skaar they hadn't had the balls to actually do it. No, instead of killing him like true warriors; the cowards, that his father should have killed when he came back from Sakaar, decided to put him in some sort of dimensional prison that would put Skaar in some sort of pocket dimension.

That's when their little plan hit a little snag called the Old Power! The moment he woke up in that machine with those bastards looking at him like they understood... he wondered if that was how his father felt when he finally became the World Breaker. For that was what Skaar had attempted to do.

He called upon the Old Power and commanded it to reach as deep as it could into the Earth's tectonic energies, fully intending to rip their pathetic dirt ball of a planet apart; even if it ended up killing him!

Except the machine's own space based technology had interfered with the current of Old Power and ended up depositing him in this weird world of seas and islands.

When he had first realized what had happened, Skaar had raged. He had raged until the island he had found himself on became little less than a pile of rubble floating in the sea, leaving Skaar in the middle of nowhere with only seas in sight. It had been something of a small relief that there had been no intelligent life on the island before Skaar wrecked it. Not that such a thing would have stopped him from wrecking the island but this way he didn't have to feel bad about it.

That wrecking of the island and the stranding of Skaar in the middle of sea was also how he had learned that this world had giant sea monsters, that happened to taste like a weird mix of sashimi and beef steak cooked rare when eaten raw.

The next island he had found himself at, after swimming for days, had been far more civilized. Which meant there were a lot of dumb and puny people who made shrieking noises when they first saw Skaar, not much different than Earth.

It had been... damn, it had been several years since then. Without possessing the technological knowledge required in order to recreate the accident that landed him in this world; Skaar had decided to, for once in his life, decided to accept his lot and lived in this new world.

And now here he was, singing in a small pub after beating the crap out of some morons who claimed that he was trespassing in the territory of some great pirate. Not sure who, he didn't really care much about the news around the world. Kind of hard to care since nothing in this world had ever given him a challenge, not even those weirdos from the so called government of this world that could cover his arms with some sort of black substance or the so called great pirates who could do the same.

Hell, the closest thing to anything interesting was whenever some weirdo with weird powers tried something. Skaar liked to rank them from weirdness, none had yet to take the first place from that small man who could somehow punch people with his nosehair.

"Oi!" His thoughts of the past, and his little alone time with alcohol, was rudely interrupted as someone yelled from the pub's door; making Skaar look towards the speaker over his shoulder.

It was a woman, a rather beautiful and tall one. That was something he liked about this world, there were people who were just as tall as him; if not taller. This woman was one such case, from a rough estimate he would say she had about a meter over him; which was quite impressive when one considered the fact that Skaar was taller than his father these days. She had pink hair covered by a white hat that also had a pink sash on it with white dots.

The rest of her clothes were not exactly noteworthy much, typical pirate wear in all honesty, but they made the fact that she was a rather curvaceous woman well known. Which was something praise worthy.

Though none of those things were as noteworthy as the cartoonish looking sun and cloud with faces on them hovering behind her, what kind of Scooby doo shit was that?

"You punk, do you have any idea how much damage you caused to my island?" She asked with a twitching smile, looking quite mad. So this was the great pirate that owned this island; though her words reminded Skaar that he had pretty much wrecked the town on the island when they had tried to force him to leave, which was a fucking rude thing to do to a man looking for some booze.

"Oh yeah, that. Sorry about it, the people of the town started it though." He said with a shrug before going back to his drink, which was far more interesting than the current conversation.

"Is that so, then I guess we can make something of a compromise." The woman said as she walked up to him, her voice having a certain curl joy in it.

"Tell me then." She looked at him with a wide smile. "Pet or life?"

"Huh?" Skaar could only grunt at her words, not understanding where she was going.

"You seem like an interesting creature if nothing else, not to mention there were a few people worth a damn in the town and you beat them, so keeping you around doesn't sound too bad. So here's my offer, you spent twenty years as my pet or I take twice that amount from your lifespan. Then there is no more debt between us!" She declared, the air around her seemingly shaking from some weird power she had; something like that flying weirdo had, but Skaar did not care about that. What he cared about was the feeling he was getting from her, a feeling that he had experienced before.

This... this bitch was trying to take a hold of his soul!

"So, what will be your..." Her words would remain forever unfinished as Saar's fist met her face and sent her flying away!
