"Son," his mother gasped, "you're back."
"Mom, I'm scared!" he shouted and hugged his mother tighter than he ever gave to her.
"What happened?"
John held her tighter before slightly lighting his embrace so he could see the road. John's heart palpitated when the car was still there, waiting for him. That cold, empty taxi that drove him home drove him crazy. He released his mother and dragged her inside the house, out of character.
"What's happening, John?" she asked, demanding his answers when she'd seen him anxious which's unusual.
"Mom, the taxi that brought me here has no driver!" he squirmed.
"Let's pray." His mother didn't asked anything but prayed them all to Jesus. She asked for God's provision for their lives, that hope will always be in Him.
After praying, John said his mother all his misfortune and she understood.
"This is an another set up," she declared.
"No, mom, I have to find my father," he insisted, getting annoyed. "I don't want to back down now. I haven't seen him all my life. Please, mom, spoil me this time."
She sighed and looked away.
"You'll go with me tomorrow, mom. I want the both of us to get there at the same time. He's your husband, and I'm his son; we both have rights in him, to look for him."
His mother was touched by him. She held back the tears that's threatening to fail her. She then hugged him, saying, "We'll go together."
