Logically speaking, it's just an inn, even if they have connections to help buy tickets, it shouldn't be that upscale! Besides, Mo Jiuli thinks back carefully now, she doesn't recall hearing about the inn helping others buy tickets.
If there were, there's no reason they wouldn't overhear others discussing it. Mo Jiuli remembers the waiter was quite enthusiastic in volunteering, saying the inn could assist in purchasing tickets to the Sanjie Auction House.
Though she felt something was amiss, Mo Jiuli didn't say anything. Since she's already here, she might as well enjoy her stay, and inquire with the waiter after watching the auction anyway!
After following Chen Li inside, Mo Jiuli and Di Minghan realized that the Sanjie Auction House was unusually large—no wonder they could allow unlimited entry. This place is ridiculously huge, and Mo Jiuli estimated that the central auction venue was about as big as a football field.
