Seeing her stay silent, Hayden Sheffield curled his lips in mockery: "Nothing to say now?"
"Jasper and I were both set up." Natalie Jennings replied, "If you believe me, then go find out the truth. If you don't, then nothing I say will matter."
Hayden let go of Jasper's tie, raised a foot and knelt on the bed, grabbing her wrist: "You keep dodging every time I want you to have my child. But now you and Jasper are getting cozy in a hotel room?"
"Nothing happened between us!"
"Because I got there in time!" Hayden yanked Natalie right in front of him, "If I'd been a minute late, what would've happened, huh?"
Natalie laughed: "You just don't trust me."
He picked her up horizontally, his suit jacket wrapping her so tightly not a breath could get through.
William stood at the door, head down, eyes fixed to the ground.
Hayden stormed off, his face dark as thunder, and tossed Natalie into the car.
The partition in the car was slowly rising.
